First things first, Gatti is not as hard a puncher as Castillo, so even if he caught up with Floyd (which he can't) he's not going to stop him. Castillo clocked Floyd more than once and was able to handle it. Secondly, Both Corrales and Castillo would knockout Gatti, he's an overrated guy who has been fortunate to lock up with other medicore fighters and it happened to work. Same thing happened in the 50's with Tony Zale and Graziano...they had great wars and everybody wanted to see them...but Ray Robinson would eat and destroy both of those guys even though he wasn't as popular. Thirdly, Gatti has a title as a warrior, but only due to fighting other washed up fighters, like Mickey Ward, we seem to forget, Gatti was crushed by guys like Alvin Robertson and Angel Manfreddy and le's not even get into what DeLa Hoya and Mayweather did to him. Why people continue to talk his name up, after he's lost to all the best guys and want to match him with a guy like Floyd who's undefeated, captured at least four belts and is in peak form...there's only one answer for that...they don't know boxing... you are my idol. Gatti got his "warior" title from his fights with bums on boxing after dark and him and micky ward are both mediocre and their careers are based off eachothers. Hes washed up. never had anything. I agree with the thread starter here. I would love to see a re-match of this fight. Here is why. Floyd would know how easily he could defeat gatti. This could mean that he would not train, or train by drinking and fucking hookers. This is a very good training regimin for a boxer in at his peak, just ask Mike Tyson. IF, one of those hookers happened to give PBF herpes it could make his dick itch and slow him down. That's when Gatti could catch him with a big punch and make this a fight.

saying that there should be another gatti mayweather fight is irrelevent, gatti is nowhere near the level of floyd. No one can disagree with this. I think a Gatti vs. Carlos Baldomir fight would be very interesting. Two great bangers just tearing each other up and it would be for a title. Why not?
