Whos the Dodger? Margarito or Floyd?

Why would a big, strong 147lber be afraid of a smaller, unproven-at-147 fighter.....who would happen to be a huge payday ? Why would the best fighter in the world be afraid of a slow-handed, fairly predictable fighter ? There is no answer...because neither is "dodging" the other, you dopes. It's all about the business of boxing....a business which is truly awful.

Floyd seems to think Big Payday = Superior Fighter, so as long as he gets big paydays that makes him the pound for pound best. Which is complete bull and a total ghetto mentality. Yes, boxing is business, but first and foremost it should be a sport, and that means fighting the top guys in your weight class regardless of its a slightly lesser payday than some popular guy who previously got beatdown in a tune-up fight. If he keeps avoiding certain matchups and making excuses, history wont remember that he was well-paid as much as the fact that he was a ducker. What has Margarito done to make people think so highly of him? Did I seriously miss something where he went around owning the best for years and seriously missed it?

right on the mark. technically it is probably floyd "ducking", but being that margarito is not a draw compared to floyd's other options what the hell do you expect? I'm glad somebody else sees it like this. I honestly think this is a complete joke. I don't give 2 shits about Margarito. I think he's a pretty good fighter who can make some noise but what has he done to earn a shot at the #1 P4P? PBF has at least 3 names that are easily a better match for us to see as fight fans.

I dont even know why he is fighting Judah, he should fight one of the real champion like Baldomir or Margarito. It no like the WWE where they call out for a fight and it happens. Judah said to PBF to sign the contract before Baldomir fight and he should go by the contract. It not just fighting there is the business part. In terms of making sense, the "undisputed" championship of the world was going to be targeted primarily to a minority in the World (African-Americans). Floyd vs Sharmba which also targeted that small group, got nearly 4 million, low risk, low interest, low rewards fight. Margarito vs Floyd would have targeted two demographic groups, offered more risk, more rewards, and considerably larger audience. Floyd offering that fight after Zab lost was a face-saving move and you know it. How are you going to offer a fighter a fight when he is obliged to fullfill a contract? Margarito was gonna make almost nothing to fight floyd had he breached the contract with Gomez he would have been not at 0... but at Minus money.
