Lightweights baby. Corrales, Castillo, Casamayor, Jesus Chavez, Kid Diamond, Nate Campbell, Julio Diaz, Juan Diaz, Zahir Raheem, Acelino Freitas are all in either fighting at lightweight or easily could be.
That is second best for me :D
Welter, without question. There's just so many potentially great fights at 140-147 right now.
The best worst division is the LHW. What I mean is, it could be great if Tarver, Johnson and Jones weren't obsessing over each other and then trying to fight middleweight losers way past their primes.
What about Tarver fighting Adamek? Briggs? Erdei? Tiozzo? Heck, even a fight with Woods is more compelling and would be more interesting than a Tarver-Hopkins match. Adamek might be the best champion that nobody's heard of right now. I don't blame Tarver for wanting a low-risk, high paying fight with a smaller fighter over a potentially tough, lower paying, high-risk challenge from the WBC champ. But it is disappointing.
I love how at 147 you have the perfect balance of power and speed. Some guys do at 160 but it tends to get more tactical and less active at that weight, or at least with many of the top guys there over the last few years. Welterweight to me is the gold standard of boxing for its real fans
i voted middleweights. i like the talent pool. from 154 to 168, theres quite a few good fighters in there, jermain taylor and joe calfaggy not being two of them.

Well I love Welterweights cause of all the action fighters there. You got Mayweather, Cotto, Gatti, and Margarito. Though I also really love the Super Featherweights with my man Manny. Though even with him, the only real action fighters there is Barrera and Morales. Barrera moving up to 135lbs and Morales looking bad at that weight now, so I dunno. At 135lbs, you got Corrales and Castillo, or at least until Castillo decides to go up to welterweight. Freitas will be cool to watch again when he faces off against Zahir.
