ok it's like this Wlad is and always has been considered the better over all fighter as far as skill vitali is probaly the tougher of the 2 even if for a short time wlad was considered to be if you made 1 fighter out of both he would be unstoppable but apart they are flawed like all fighters. Yeah his biggest wins can't compare, but if he had a heart he could possibly have been a unified champ. Plus, he had a moral victory over Lennox Lewis, someone who would have personally retired Wlad if they fought (even the beer belly Lewis, doesn't that beer belly part sound familiar ;) ). Mcline was hyped up yes....with his 1 punch K.O. over Michael Grant, but Wlad ended all that hype by knocking his ass out. He demolished Barrett and Byrd. He knocked Axel Schulz out, and it was basically the same Shultz that was robbed against the rejuvinated Foreman. Ray Mercer re-established himself as a potential threat with the right hand....and was always dangerous because he made for a good fight. He had never been down as a pro...and Wlad knocked him down 2 times..then finished him. Sure he was old....but he was dangerous. Derrick Jefferson was a threat with the left hook...as big an idiot as he was either way...he got his ass KTFO. Vitali generally fights rodeo clowns..I don't think you can compare the two. Wlad is also an Olympic Gold Medalist.

I still say that knockdown vs. Williamson was nonsense. He was out against Sanders and down against Brewster but that knock down against Williamson was a joke. It still counts as a knockdown, and the ref called him down, but he was clearly just off balance. It happens all the time. I'm sick of people acting like he was knocked unconcious and giving Williamson full knockdown credit.
