I guy at my gym is like that. He likes to drink and eat mexican food. He gets up to ~180 between fights and fights at ~150. He is in good shape between fights, just heavy. Some guys are just real good at cutting weight very quickly. Guys who have wrestled (not WWE) are usually VERY good at.

He's always been that way..If it works ,then who are we to criticise, as he's always the fitest fighther, with the most stamina once in the ring.
Maybe taking it easy when he's not fighting enables his body to cope with the strain of his training schedule.
But who cares..You can only be critical when it becomes a problem..Which it obviously is not..

try going 2-4 months and just eating fish n tuna. i guarantee u wont enjoy it. u cant be around food or even smell it. train and eat healthy is all u do: ]
yeah dude i was shocked when i saw him last night. he was all bloated and greasy. he easily weighed more than i do. after watching i got on the scale just to see and i weighed in at 165 and homeboy was way way bigger than me. he had to be at least 180.
he loses but 5 lbs a week i think. he prolly eats some tuna or fish before training. and thats all he eat for the hole day. im sure he has a proffesional diet nutrition expert helping him eat healthy to lose a lb everyday. and he trains very hard that just gets him in purfic shape.

Cheers. Looking at it from that angle, Hatton is quiet an amazing fellow.
when he opens camp for training he lives a very strict life, his diet is perfect, training is spot on and he drops 2 - 3lb a week, thats why hes camps are for usually 10 weeks, i think for kostya he trained 14, bear in mind he weights fight night 150ish so he prob makes 154 quite easy, he usually blows up to 180 - 190, but would drop 20 - 25 easy by eating right never mind the training hours he puts in, when hes not fighting he really does live the easy life

he eats alot of shit food when not training and likes a drink. he looses all the weight by just training hard as fuck and changing to a more healthy diet when preparing for a fight.

its not metabolism coz people with good metabolism don't get fat. its hard work.
