fixed fights: over/under theories

How come DHL and B-Hop is fixed as B-Hop is alway against the boxing organization saying that they alway against him something like that.!?!?!??! :confused: Wow I logged back in eh? Heh anyhow I dont belive B-Hop Vs DLH was fixed. I think DLH was hurt, although not fight ending but he could tell what was going to happen had he gotten up. He'd have been outpointed and dismantled over the following rounds. This may seem like im saying it was a fix but, your misunderstanding. I think hed rather make it look like he went out fighting, instead of quitting in his corner later on in the fight after accumulating punishment. Also for the partnership, Bernard Hopkins is a very smart man and very savvy. After beating DLH he got a boost in his name and even though everyone knew his style wasnt appealing they still wanted to see him fight. Proof is he gets booed after Eastman, yet people paid to see JT B-Hop I and not many liked that, although I believe the second one did even better didnt it? DLH wouldnt lose to make a business partner.

I remember the odds evening drastically in DLH's fight against Gatti. I gurantee bookmakers were targeting fan bias so that people would actually put money on Gatti. Cause Tua is a creation, who couldnt even KO Rahman (he did, but not in 19 secs). hatton kosta fight there was no way the judges ref or the crowd would let him win there I agree with you because Kosta was resting between round and threw the towel. He didnt even seemed sad too about it. The where nearly next to each other in points and Kosta have a chance of winning. Other fights could be Nassem and Regio ( Arg.) both where unbeaten but and Nassem was controling over the round but Nassem said he going to KO him in the 2nd round something like that. Nassem could have won but not like what he said.

the most blatant of these fixes was the DeLaHoya-Campas fight where Campas' trainer threw in the towel about 1 minute after the "over" bet went thru....but what are some otehrs that u guys can think of??? Popo Freitas quit only 6 seconds before the "over" bet would have gone thru (10.5 rds) in his fight with Chico Corrales, not as blatant as the Campas fix but pretty sketchy either way got any others??? I never thought about that....you could be on to something here...

Actually I know a guy who fought Tua, he is a journymen who I would always bump into at local shows......... Anyhow the fight was on HBO and they had an over\under at round 2. Tua knocked down my buddie and he got up at the count of like 3 and was fine. I saw the tape...... No stagger, No glassy eyes nothing and the ref called it off. This guy had betted his entired purse on the fight and he told me he figures Nady musta been in on it cause he was gonna make big money had he made it past round 2...................
