ok fantasy time. Lets say Oscar beats Mayorga by TKO or UD and Floyd does the SAME against Zab
Then they both square off in Sept. at 147 and Oscar wins by KO or UD, how would you view Oscar then??
and remember these points...
Floyd is P4p the best right now, and if hes not he should be after a victory against Zab.
Oscar has been written off as washed up or that he just doesnt have the juice left in him since hes old.
How big would it be if Oscar defeated the p4p king and one of the most gifted fighters of all time (many beleive hes undistructble)?
Floyd is to small for DLH. Floyd wont even fight anybody legit at 140, 147lbs except maybe Gatti who is not an A level opponent. To move up catchweight againts DLH he has a good chance of getting KOed. At least Mayweather is fighting somebody. This is a fight I would LOVE to see. Hope it really, really happens. Though I think he may loose, Im for Floyd on this one.
i dont think Oscar would win, but thats not the question.
the question is how big would that be?? If oscar beats the best out there at his age in sept.?
PBF doesn't need to bring any power, he will just outbox Oscar. This will be an easy fight for PBF, I really hope he doesn't take this fight, I rather see him fighting Hatton or Cotto, then seeing him against Oscar.
you cant outbox oscar that easy. sweet pea tryed and de la hoya hung in there with him. oscar is also a good boxer, if he tryes to ko him he might be able to pull it off.pbf is in my top 3 fav fighters if he can fight oscar it will get him a payday and it will be the biggest victory under his name. i see it more of a challenge for him than hatton or cotto. hatton is just like castillo except he cuts easier. cotto has a so so chin mayweather would outbox him and go in for a kill 7th round

I agree on everything!
I think he quit, because he knew Hopkins was ready to beat him up badly in the later rounds. That was a great acting job by Oscar. That was a soft body punch by Hop. Also what's more strange, is both guys became partners after the fight.
if he did trow it that was smart he signed a champ and made big bucks losses respect as a fighter tho. but we need to get this back on the subject of de la hoya floyd. floyd has better D than hopkins did but i dont think he carry the power of a 160 pounder, strum couldnt ko him and he caught him good.

yup. Oscar neva had a chance.

eh, i think it would be hard to say that it WASNT a sketchy KO. from what ive heard, that is...ive yet to see the fight myself. but oscar falling from a body shot for the 10 count? i dunno.
you can't be serious. THAT WAS PATHETIC.
i know it was pathetic he had no chance but he went in there. b-hop was just that better i wont make an excuse my boy lost but he didnt run, only fight he ran was 2 rounds of last fight againts tito
he was in there preassuring him when every body thaught he was going to run. since he didnt carry the power he does at 154 or lower b-hp was not hurt. even hopkins was surprised that he pressured him

de la hoya WASNT doing anything against Hop. He was running around, dancing wit Hopkins. That was a pathetic performance and I regret buyin that PPV.

holy shit i agree with ya. lots of people count de la hoya out but in his last fight he came in in good shape was doing fine untill the ko. b-hop was use to fealing peoples power at 160 so he delt with de la hoyas punch no problem. de la hoyas punch beats any body that mayweather has faceds well at least his left hook

Floyd is not better than all of those fighters. Certainly, many people would rank him p4p behind Roy all-time. Pac also has a chance to be better ranked all-time. It's all a matter of opinion, but one thing is for sure:
Floyd is not invincible.
Even if Floyd is better than Roy and Forrest and Pac...that doesn't save him from getting beaten by De La Hoya. MUCH MUCH MUCH crazier things have happened.

I don't mean it literrally man. That's just the word I use in sayin how good Pretty Boy is.
IMO, Floyd is the greatest fighter alive right now. Floyd has practically no flaw in his game!!!!!!
who woudl win at super feather floyd or pac?

Floyd is far from invincible. No one is invincible. History has taught us that over and over.
Roy Jones...KO'd (for whatever reason, he still got KO'd)
Manny Pac...KO'd twice and was beaten by Morales when every1 thought otherwise
Forrest....easily stopped by Mayorga
Floyd HIMSELF was beaten clearly by Jose Luis Castillo. Even if you're on the fringe and believe he won that fight, then you still have to admit based on that fight alone that Floyd is not "invincible".
Floyd is betta than all those fightas you listed. Floyd is just INCREDIBLE.
