well shit, corrales was diggin deep at that point, what was he supposed to do, just lie on the ground? i dont condone cheating, but at the same time, i give him props for doin what he had to do to stay in the fight. jlc shouldve been able to finish him off, but he didnt.

yes chico spit out his mouthpiece twice to get the extra rest...but people act like castillo was in the neutral corner throwing punches he was also getting the same rest as corrales ....castillo not making weight is alot worst while chico was killing himself to make weight castillo was saving his energy for fight night this was a clear advantage for castillo... if it was not for the 2nd mouthpiece spit the fight would have been OVER, corrales was crawling around the floor when he was up, he was not even able to look the right way.

Not 2 beat a dead horse but y would Castillo not make weight on purpose risking cancelation of the fight? He didnt know Corralles was going 2 decide 2 fight anyway. A prearanged scenerio with Corralles accepting 2 brutally get knocked out in the 4th round with Castillo is more believable than Castillo not making weight on purpose. Thats bananas, I like Corralles 2 but he legitametly got his mouthpiece handed to him, get over it.

I don't blame him for the dull fight last night, it takes two people to make a good fight. What I hate was the weigh in they showed last night, where he stepped off the scale three or four times before they even read it. If that doesn't constitute cheating, then I don't what will. I gave him the benefit of the doubt that he did NOT intentionally failed to make the weight against the rematch with Corrales. But now, I guess the secret's out :mad: I dont get that,they showed the footage,and they obviously made sure he was at the correct weight.

Castillo's performance was dull, but that does not erase the fact that he is still one of the best fighters in the scene today. Styles make fights, and when he faces Corrales or Cotto, the fight will be great.

yeah....I cant stand them. you can type untill blue in the face, and make threads on this topic one after another. The minority or I should say now.....Majority of haters are still bitter from the LEGITIMATE knockout victory over their beloved Corrales. They know the weight issue is no big deal....they just like to overhype the situation a bit more than it really is. Oh yeah and it's really funny....
