Paul Malignaggi - Feather Fisted Fraud?

In all your opinions, is Malignaggi Feather Fisted? 5 Knockouts in 16 bouts against sub-par opposition isn't the best KO ratio, but is it because he's patient, or because his punches don't hurt? DO you think if he let his hands go, he would get more KOs? I recently watched one of his fights, and his speed is there. He knows how to use the jab - and it's like a laser. But does it have any power, or is he just sticking his hand out like a measuring stick. Personally, watching the reaction of his opponent, the jab has some sting. I think Malignaggi will score more knockouts with accumulated damage, as he fights bouts with more rounds.
