Ok let's not get excited here. Hatton does not clinch that much....and if he does, he throws a couple of left hooks to the body and thats it. but he does it really fast and doesn't hold on long. I don't know: hopkins was not penalized often. I "loved" hopkins sensing where the ref is and hitting on the other side, if there is class in fouling, that's it

depends how bad it is, ive only seen a couple or three times where i think he should of either been warned more or had a point off and he hasnt, hes a rough fighter if he gets too rough the warnings will come and the points will come off if he continues, i dont think he has much to worry about Agreed, also, it depends on how big the fight is. A ref doesn't want to deduct a point and have that deduction decide who wins. I think Hatton is worthy at times of a point deduction but many fighters clinch hatton and he just trys to release himself by punching out. It makes Hatton look bad but all he wants to do is win and punch at all times.
