The illegality factor & the negative side effects of steroids have no place in this "debate". Alcohol.....has absolutely zero physical benefit. It is a destroyer. Yet, (in America) an over 21 year-old boxer can drink as much of it as he wants....the negative effects are his problem. An under-21 year old, is not legal to consume it. Personally.....I don't know if steroids can help a fighter be a better fighter. Vargas & Mosley have both been suspected of juicing, & both look worse & even more feather-fisted than ever, since the allegations.

It seems to me that the steroids greatly benefit both boxers and their fans. Steroids stimulate muscle growth and recovery from injuries, and therefore help boxers be strong and healthy. The benefit to the fans is also obvious, as the fans get to watch their favorite fighters, like Roy Jones, Mike Tyson, James Toney, Wladamir Klitscko, and Shane Mosley, in a shape that is superior relative to their opponents. If they were legal, you would have to take them if you wanted to be #1. Steroids makes your balls turn in to small - non funktioning - stones. no it shouldnt be legal. its a safety thing. what happens if they over dose and to many steroid will take it out on there body witch can make stepping into a ring that more dangerouse. and then theres the advantage factore
