On saturday i have to see one of Denmarks best fighters over the years. He should give Gatti a run for his money, and please all of us with a good fight. Who do you pick as a winner
nobody know who the hell greg haugen or khalid rahilou is..stop trying to boost up ur country's boxing creditbility
If you don't know who they are, that says a lot more about your boxing knowledge than it does about them :D
Damgaard is a real slugger with a lot of hart, chin and stamina. I think Damgaard is to big for Gatti whom is a natual Lightweight. just ask Greg Haugen and Khalid Rahilou what they thinks of Damgaard
I have to agree with punchdrunk that Damgaard has not been impressive the last couple of years and unless he has turned back time i'm afraid he will be ko'ed in the mid rounds. Gatti may not be what he once was but Damgaard seems to be even further from his best just look at his last couple of fights and compare them with the ones you refer to.

gatti by early KO.. gatti is still powerful.. and will fight is ass off.. hes comming back from a loss.. he will win by overpowering damgaard.. i was going to start this thread but u beat me to it..
i hope gatti wins.. he still has sum fight left in him
there is no way daamgaard has more heart or stamina than mickey ward did. and i also doubt he is any better pressure fighter than ward was. you saw how easy gatti took apart ward in the second encounter especially. he'll box with daamgaard until he is comfortable and start letting them loose around the 6th. id say TKO inside of 9 for gatti. gatti is smaller yes, but also much quicker, hes not gonna let this guy corner him all night long.
Damgaard's version of boxing is walking forward with his hands high, and then throwing punches when the other guys is cornered. He also tries to roll, but his skill have eroded, so he does a poor job of it. I feel his handspeed is gone, and he basically can't throw a straight punch. It looks kinda like his arms won't stretch all the way out.
I've never seen Gatti in person, but if he's way smaller than Damgaard, then Damgaard may be successful. I highly doubt it though.
i never seen damgard fight...but i hope its a good fight.... if damgard boxes...then he would be good. probaly take a UD or so..IF he doesnt get KO 1st
does damgaard have good power? because that is about the only way he will win fighting in Arturo's second home.(AC) They idolize that fucker in Jersey
I heard boxing fans in Jersey let people knock them down and see if they can come back to win and sometimes break their hands on purpose and see if they can keep fighting.
Think Damgaard will get stopped on cuts late rounds - being behind on points at the time, though not by much.
(Well.....as good a guess as any)
Just dont think Damgaard is back in his best form - but then neither is Gatti, so who knows.
Whoever wins it's gonna be bloody.

I actually did ask Greg Haugen what he thought of Damgaard and he said he was very good...
BUT
Keep in mind Haugen was a shell of himself an absolute shell.

Heart, yes. Chin, not anymore. Stamina? Questionable as well. He hasn't been active enough, and he's looked like RUBBISH in his last 5-6 fights. In fact he's received gift decisions to rival those of Ottke. In one fight, he was knocked down, the fight was pretty much over, and then he's saved by the bell. During intermission, Palle is in the other guy's corner, yelling. Next round, the other guy doesn't throw a punch, and goes down from a Damgaard punch, that doesn't hit him(the replay is so obvious, it's painful). That shit looked BAD...
