Im pretty sure he quit cause of brain damage but was it after the Mayweather fight?
phillip was a good figher, but floyd ended his career techniclly...
Mayweather vs. N'Dou is a special fight to me for several personal reasons, but back to the matter at hand, I thought it was an impressive performance by Mayweather and one of the most amazing displays of courage I have ever seen, by N'Dou. It is Mayweather's best fight ever.
That's always my favorite part in a fight. When one fighter feels a sense of urgency while in danger of being stopped and he just throws everything he has.
Much credit to Mayweather for having the defense he has. I don't think N'Dou landed anything the way he wanted to in that fight, for the exception of maybe a jab or two.
Just read he got a brain cyst. Poor guy. Yeah Ndou was knocked down in the 6th, but the ref called it a slip. He was taking a major beating recieved so many rights to the head, yet he continued on.
Yeah. That African pride. Even in the seventh when he got smashed with those right hands, he still got back. And didn't want to quit. Heart of a warrior.

Damn! Seriuosly? I thought he was just takin' some time off.
Mayweather really handed it to him. That fight should've been stopped in the 6th. The 7th round wasn't called for.
Ahhh I see thanks for that duece.
I was just assuming after Mayweather fight, watched it many times, he took so many big punches that fight. Should have thrown in towel a lot earlier. That probably contributed to whatever he had.
