Check out this retarded quote:
"It's definitely a setback, but nothing is permanent," said Judah, who was making his second defense since defeating Cory Spinks last year for the undisputed welterweight title. "I'll ask for a rematch, and we'll do it again."
Umm this is a lot more than a setback. He is not going to get a big fight unless he puts together some GOOD wins, and not the bullshit Wayne Martells, Rafael Pinedas, and Cosme Rivera's he's accustomed to fighting. He lost to Carlos Baldomir and thinks he still has a shot to make some serious money. That's fucking RETARDED. Mayweather is never going to fight him after this. Why risk losing to a guy who lost to CARLOS BALDOMIR?! This is not a setback, and Judah fans need to stop feeding Zab bullshit and making him feel like this loss is ok. This is a career-ending loss he has suffered here. I honestly don't think he can redeem himself for this. Who's he gonna beat to do it? I'm sorry, Zab, but you can call it a setback if you want. You are finished as far as boxing goes...
dont give me this "baldomir" bullshit. he pulled an upset off zab judah, yes. he won a title, yes.
QUOTE]
Did Baldomir win a title for that? I thought that he declined to pay the sanctioning fees and now the title is vacant. I don't know if that's right but I thought that is what I heard.
Yep... many posters have admitted to watching Floyd to see him get his ass handed to him.
I'm thinking either Undefeated or another Puerto Rican poster is one of them... I just read a thread about that person saying it too.
people watch Wlad and Gatti to see them get beat up, dude. people don't watch every Judah and Mayweather fight hoping to see them get their mouths shut. Least I don't think they do...
I made this sig myself. That's why I have it.
I am disappointed in him by what he didn't do and his immature antics.
Zab I think is at the point where he needs to "put up or shut up" and I couldn't agree more. But I won't tell him to retire or give it up, cause shit Wlad is still boxing and Zab has looked good in the last 5 years unlike Wlad.
I think you need to realize before you knock him that there are still the Wlads and Gattis of boxing who haven't even done what Zab has done nor possess his talents. Wlad and Gatti are still headlining cards... Zab isn't.

Yeah, you saw a different fight. Baldomir looked like a bum. Judah looked like he didn't prepare.
There was nothing I saw that made me say "hey Baldomir is a good fighter." Baldomir looked like ass. He's the type of champ who would win a belt and then lose the title in his first defense.
Baldomir was shit. Slow. He telegraphed his punches. Couldn't even chase Judah in the 7th when he was dazed.
Who knows what was up with Judah. He only hurt himself.
And I was glad he lost after he hit Baldomir before the fight. Just dirty...
i thought baldomir fought the only fight he could fight to win... he had to pressure zab and get to zab first and not let zab tee off on him with his blazing hand speed... is baldomir a great fighter? no, but he showed a good chin, heart(which zab doesnt have), and some decent hand speed....

so get him out of your signature. wow, judah beat up some guy named wayne martell. good victory! didn't it take judah like half a round to end that one because martell kept getting up?

see, I wouldn't be nearly as upset if Zab had realized he was down on points and tried to score a knockout, but he didn't. he coasted like a little bitch and lost a unanimous decision to a guy named carlos baldomir. he can never fix this. this is simply unforgiveable. you can have offnights but you still have to win when the opposition SUCKS

a fluke that zab was stumblin, runnin, all over the place, holding on for dear life? baldomir's relentless pressure and lead right hands had nothing to do with it? it was all what zab wasn't doing?
i musta saw a different fight....
It was ONE loss. It was a fluke.
I and many people were expecting Judah at any time to do a flurry that would TKO/KO Baldomir.
Baldomir didn't win by anything HE was doing. It was more of what Judah WAS NOT doing.

Did you see the fight?
Baldomir didn't win like you're projecting he won.
It was clear to me that something was wrong with Judah. I am no apologist, but Baldomir could have gone at any moment.
I remember one flurry Judah was actually trying to hurt him in and Baldomir was dazed.
I could imagine a "coasting" Judah schooling and outclassing Baldomir. Except Zab had little output. Little agression so the fight went unanimously to Baldomir.
The fight really was about what Judah did NOT do more than Baldomir being the better fighter.
If you're going to knock Zab, knock him for being dazed and running the whole 7th round from Baldomir who is known to have little power or speed.
I'm kind of at the point where you are, except not as extreme. To me, if Zab wants to prove he belongs in Floyd's league he needs to fight ONLY the best from here now. His name isn't Wlad nor Vitali. He is going to be expected to beat the best to be the best.
no, you're very wrong in saying this fight was a fluke. was it a fluke that Judah only got a SD over Corley and Pineda? it is not a fluke at all. the fact of the matter is Judah fights scared when he's on top of the world. he can never be great. he will always be remembered for losing to carlos baldomir no matter how much he does from now on.

for me to gain respect in zab judah again..is if he fights margarito and mayweather at the same time in the ring
thats about it then i would watch him fight again
^^^ I agree Im gonna say Zab lost this fight, not Baldomir won this fight. I know its the same to many people but it was Fluke'ish. He just needs to get his head on straight and get a couple W's.Im no huge fan of his but these things happen, no reason to dismiss him completely.

I don't think you should be allowed to rebound after losing to Carlos Baldomir. I'm definitely not supporting Judah regardless of what he does for the rest of his career.

the WW division isnt all that great. aside from judah, mayweather, and margarito, theres not really anybody in the division that could be considered a "big name".
dont give me this "baldomir" bullshit. he pulled an upset off zab judah, yes. he won a title, yes. none of that erases the fact that hes simply a club fighter who actually beat a top fighter (and the only fighter we recognize).
i dont think judah's finished in boxing, but it will take a LOT to rebound from something this devastating.
Under-estimating the defeat, definately.
Setback, yes.
What else would you expect him to say?
It's known he is very childish. I thought he grew up. Evidently he didn't by hitting Baldomir before the fight and blaming King for making him do interviews to promote the fight.
See, I knew Judah would be outmatched by Floyd, but I still wanted to see these two fight. Now after losing to Baldomir, my interest in this fight quickly faded to zero.

Zab is simply not ready nor will he ever be ready for championship caliber.
Zab has chocked in every single big fight he has had and lost them. He lost to Tszyu in a fight he was clearly winning in the first round. He lost to Cory Spinks who he could have easily beaten had he done what he was supposed to do. Zab simply lacks that go get-em attitude and he is not mature enough to handle be a top class fighter. There is no way he can wipe his loss to baldomir off his record. At 28 years old these are the years that he is supposed to be involved in his mega fights. But now he again is rebuilding. what does it take zab to learn???
i agree. I bought into Judah's talk and first round KO's of nobodies for so long, I feel like an idiot. feel like i was lied to everytime somebody told me, "he's mature now. he's grown up." bullshit. he's the same little whiner he always was with a bad temper and now he's the little bitch that lost to Carlos Baldomir. try wiping THAT off your resume
