if the champion loses he should lose everything, what a mockery it is if he did keep 2 out of the 3 belts it sounds as if baldy is getting shafted.
Zab lost cos he totally took him for granted and when he realised he had a fight on his hands he shit it cos he hasnt the the mental strength to deal with it
I agree, partly. But, what if it was not part of the negotiations..just like the rematch clause wasnt? I remember reading and hearing that Baldomir was the WBC #1 contender, which is why the WBC belt was up for the taking. Not to come off as stupid, but what about the #1 contenders for the WBA and the IBF?? I've not checked the ratings since my last Ring mag. so I'm not even exactly sure who they are
Lol, just one more reason the alphabet titles suck so much.

I read an article that was saying that Baldomir's people were trying to pay the sactioning fees of the other belts if they would recognize him as their champion. They were basically saying that they were never approached to pay the sanctioning fees from the other sanct. bodies to make this a undisputed title bout or that they would have. Hence the question.
Gotcha ;)
That would be an interesting turn of events. Although I'm no fan of Judah's I dont necessairly want to see him lose all the belts.....that would really suck, even for someone I dislike a great deal. It will also bring up questions of whether Zab would have taken Baldomir and the fight more seriously is he knew all 3 belts were on the line. It could be the beginning of a long, dragged out ordeal, cause I can definately see Judah protesting LOUDLY over that
judah will never beat pretty boy.....
for goodness sake judah got rocked by baldimor!!!! and you think he could take on mister 35 and 0??? nah uh.. floyd would expose judahs chin way more than baldimor did
Judah definitely deserves a shot at Mayweather. I think their style's are very complementary and match up perfectly for an exciting, thrilling bout. And that's what boxing needs... More exciting fighters like these guys and the Gatti's, the Margarito's, the Mayorga's... A good buddy of mine once said 'God bless the boxer who first entertains, and second wins.' I am a huge advocate of exciting fighters and I think a Judah-Mayweather bout would be great for the boxing world. With respect to Judah's loss to Baldomir, I read a really good article at JabMax about the future of the welterweight division, here's the link for anyone who cares...

Cheers.
I like exciting fights too. But if Zab takes this fight too early and loses thats it. His carrer would tumble. He should take a couple tune ups and get his head str8 before taking on PBF.

I'd say he has a weaker jaw to a above average fighter BUT calling somweone glass jaw when they have only been stopped once out of lots of fights is extreme so yes i am serious :p
He was wobbled (I guess, didn't see the fight) by Baldomir. That's worse than glass. That's like... papier-mache.
All those other belts? If Zab lost, he only gave up the WBC, since Baldomir was the number one contender. ATleast, that was my take on it.

Of course. My whole point is simple...why keep slaming one person day after day. We all know already everyone hates him. Why keep repeating it?
Because we still can't believe it. It really happened.
If you talk the talk you have to walk the walk. It's the American way. No body picked Baldomir to win. Nobody. Not even me, hell I'd a bet my house Judah was going to win(glad i didn't).Point is You gotta deliver when your supposed
to. Otherwise, this is what you get. I could see if he wasn't in shape or had a broken limb, he just lost.To a no namer. This is going to hurt his rep for a while.

Why does everyone feel they have to keep smashing Judah. He screwed up and is wrong for it. Its already been established. Its almost like people have a personal vandetta against different atheletes.

Lol, believe it or not, I've seriously restrained myself and my comments..something I dont usually do. I think all the trash talking, and the disrespect he shows so many other fighters brings out the glee in people that arent fans of his..pretty natural really. Dont worry bud, you know it will evuentally die down
:)
Who is more of a joke than this guy? DOes he even deserve to fight Mayweather and WHY if so.

The real question is what's going to actually happen to those other belts and how quickly he's going to be given a chance to fight for them again. Yeah, he lost. But when undisputed champs lose close decisions, aren't they normally expected to get a next-to-immediate rematch?

John Ruiz and Chris Byrd will never lose to an opponent of Baldomir's background. I mean this loss is clearly the most pathetic one I've ever seen for an elite fighter. Guess Judah was NOT elite.
sad, but true. but i still maintain that byrd and ruiz are bigger jokes.
whos more of a joke? john the bum ruiz and chris the duck byrd.

Only if it's in the contract, which it wasn't they said, & only if Baldimor wants it, which he doesn't, he said thru a translator. :)
Poor performance by Zab, but he'll be back. He got caught with a beautiful short punch against the ropes, got hurt, and it affected his willingness to open up the rest of the fight. He just didn't want to throw after that. So he lost a close decision. He's lost before and come back to excel, so at least he's shown he can do that. Lots of fighters never make it back. He's made it back twice now. I'm sure this will be a 3rd. But yeah, there's no excuse for it, and there's no way he didn't have the skills to dominate Baldomir.. he just got lazy winning the fight easy and got caught.
And to those making a big deal out of him putting his right hand to his right ear for a split sec before putting it on his left ear- get real people. 3-4 people are trying to talk to him at once, the crowd is berserk, I'm sure people are yelling at him ringside, plus he's still a little buzzed. Shit any of you might do the same thing if I someone jumped right in your face in your apartment and asked you while you were watching tv, let alone being in a big fight in MSG and being hurt. What's funny is when I saw that I was immediately saying to myself "Watch all the guys on the forums make a big deal out of that." Herd mentality is easy to predict. Hehe.

i don't think so...his last two losses have been against spinks and baldomir...how the HELL would he have a chance against someone who has not lost
Mayweather is a superior technician, and Zab doesnt stand a chance against him. I'm suprised this is an issue anymore
Being outboxed by Baldomir was bad enough..why compound it by being totally outclassed by someone of Floyds league?
