What should Mayweather do next?

At this point, Zab is certainly not a viable PPV fight so I would suggest the following. Have Hatton fight Gatti and Mayweather fight Baldomir preferably on a co-feature, but more likely on seperate cards. This would give Mayweather the chance to control a 147 belt and Hatton the chance to build an American fan base. If by some chance Baldomir is the second coming of Carlos Monzon we could also learn that. Then sometime late summer, early fall we can have the fight we all want to see, Mayweather-Hatton. After beating gatti easily, hatton would have fans on both sides of the atlantic, and this would be a tremendous ppv draw.

Mayweather can't even fight judah now. The bottom line is that baldomir is the champ now fair and square. FOr PBF to bypass baldomir and fight judah would show a lack of respect. Not that he will even think of bothering to do this considering that he can now gain additional negotiating leverage at 147 by beating baldomir.

Bullshit. Who the fuck would buy that trash now i agree. this fight was an attraction only cuz of both fighters p4p status. zab has lost that with this humiliating loss to baldy. i wouldnt buy this fight, not anymore at least.

Bullshit. Who the fuck would buy that trash now I agree, Mayweather-Judah would be completely pointless now. Judah showed he has no heart and PBF would beat his ass. Like Vivian Harris, Zab Judah is now back to fighting for peanuts on undercards or in non-televised matches until he can do something to show he deserves a shot again. Like Carlos Maussa I think Baldomir will fight PBF for a decent payday, get beat, and retire (although Maussa didn't retire). I never liked Judah so I had a good laugh at the end of the fight.

Who would want to see that fight now. Zab now has near zero fans and frankly there is nothing compelling about the match up. There is not one aspect in boxing, speed, technique, conditioning, durability, toughness, defnese, movement, etc. where zab is even comparable. I hope that is clear to anyone who watched this debacle. BTW, Zab would be lucky to get a nickle from mayweather now

Margarito is a very good banger, could well lay claim to being the #1 welter right now. I don't think any of the big names would be too interested in that fight though.

I can't see why mayweather would fight Margarito. It would be an interesting fight, but at this point Margarito has not done enough to make himself a particularly marketable fighter. This would not be a big PPV buy fight and I can't see why Mayweather would take that kind of risk until margarito made a name for himself especially given that he could make far more popular fights with hatton and cotto.

Let's not jump the gun. Just cause Baldomir beat Zab, doesn't mean he's good, it just means Zab wasn't in the zone for this fight. I'm not saying Zab is that great either though this was a pathetic performance. If you put Baldomir in with Mayweather or Hatton, I'm going to really have to feel bad for this humble man cause he's going to be eaten alive by them.

I don't like Zab in the slightest bit but I like most really wanted to see him fight Floyd (my favorite fighter). Floyd needs mega fights and this one isn't his fault at all. But now we know that Zab is definitely not the real deal so you can throw that fight out the window even if the judges gave him the win which thankfully they didn't. Fight Hatton when he's finally ready and stops pulling this "I need another year" shit As of now I guess he'll fight Baldomir and like always the Floyd haters will bitch about the match up.

Baldomir said he wants Mayweather, so I'm guessing thats going to happen next, then there will be people crying about how Baldomir sucks and Mayweather beat another bum. I have no idea whats going on with this division now though. I doubt he would go after Margarito as much as I'd love to see it.
