Aside From Castillo/Corrales 1, Fight of the Year?

it was lopsided though right? then what made that exciting? not to mention Trinidad-Mayorga happened in 2004...

My order would be 1.) Pac-Morales 2.) Cotto-Torres 3.) Arce-Hussein IF I had to choose a 3rd. Arce-Hussein after rewatching it a bunch of times, it wasn't as good as it's made out to be. Arce dominated the whole fight with afew small occassions where Hussein tried to fight back with Arce and in most cases he got the worst end of it. These flurries also occured mostly at the end of the rounds and only happened in afew. I think people got over excited with the way Arce was bleeding badly and he needed a knockout to win. That's what made the match turn into more excitement since Arce was dominating though Hussein could have won off a TKO if the fight had stopped. I don't care who you are. Pac-Morales (only coz I haven't seen most of the others)

FOY- corrales vs. castillo we all know the reasons 1. cotto vs. torres back and forth action all power shots no regard for defense and multiple knockdowns. 2.pac vs. morales good exciting fight back and forth action which more rnds. would of been like the 12th. 3. arce vs. hussein great fight dramatic ending....

I like the Cotto fight more because I like Cotto but I'd objectively pick Pac-Morales because it was a ppv fight that exceeded lofty expectations and because it went the distance. It's hard for me (not impossible) to pick a FOY that goes just a few rounds like the Cotto fight or Ruelas-Gatti a few years back. Both were great fights though. I wasnt saying I'd pick it over Morales-Pac or of course Castillo -Corrales,but I'd pick it everytime over Arce-Hussein,which was a good fight,but really a fight Arce dominated.The drama in that fight was Arce's cut and sense of urgency.

Morales vs. Pac would have to come in second.
