i havent seen many of AM's fights.. but i think that hell be chasing zab around the ring.. i dont think any1 will win by KO.. those are my brief opinions about the fight.. does anyone have any AM fights?
White, and Texan. I just know my sh!t though. I don't have favorites. I analyze from an unbiased eye.
From their prespective, because Margarito was coming on late it means he would have won the fight. That's not true. You can't predict an outcome simply because you want somebody to win. It just doesn't happen like that. Micky Ward was coming on, in round 8 vs Zab, he still got lit up in the ninth and tenth round. Those arguments are not solid arguments, it just stems from bias because they're fans.
tru... i agree with that. i wanted to disagree with u but u have a point hehe
are you a puerto rican?

First of all, to kill all of this "You didn't see the fight bullsh!t" Margarito fought Santos on the undercard of Cotto vs Pinto. I saw the goddamn fight. You guys act as if Margarito was dominating the fight, and he was NOT. His punch output per fight is usually around 1000 punches. He was NOT throwing punches against Santos, you dumbasses. He was hesitant because he has trouble fighting southpaw, which is what I stated in my first post. I saw the goddamn fight. I wanted him to win, but that does not mean he would have won.
Secondly, if the momentum is in Margarito's favor, it DOES NOT stand to reason he would win the fight after 12 rounds. Meldrick Taylor was kicking Chavez's ass round after round, but what happened in the twelveth round? He was stopped. Quartey was on his way to beating Oscar De La Hoya, but in the last two rounds, what happened? Oscar came back and won it. So, that kills that argument. Your arguments are as weak as your boxing knowledge.
Third, don't give me that Margarito is "slow starter" bullshIt. Did he start slow when he fought Hercules Kveylos? No. Styles make fights, and Santos' style is what made Margarito start slow.
are you a puerto rican?
What a dumbass. If the fight is stopped by a cut, before the fourth round, the fight is ruled a No Contest. If the fight is stopped by a cut, after the fourth round, you go the score cards. Obviously, if he was on his way to winning the fight, the score cards should have indicated that. And it didn't, which is why Santos is credited with the victory.
Maybe it's YOU that didn't see the fight, or don't know to interpret what's really going on. Another one schooled.
Yeh. Obviously. After all, no one ever loses controversially in boxing. Oh no. That's just not the case.
Wait a minute...
Marg was ahead of one card, and that's a split decision. I see you read boxrec..good for you. Still need to watch the fight as you obviously have no clue what happened in it.
If the momentum is in marg's favor, it stands to reason he would win the fight after 12 rounds. He is a slow start after all. Again, you wouldn't know this because you don't watch much boxing.

Split decision? :lol1: Are you sure that it's me that didn't see the fight? Technical Decision, buddy.
Also, the momentum was in Tony's favor. But, that does not mean he was going to when the fight. Are you psychic or something? Just because you have a couple of good rounds does not mean you WILL in fact win the 12 round fight. Why you can't understand this I don't know. It is very well possible that in the very next round Tony could have been stopped. The point is, who knows what would have happened?
So, again, Toney was NOT on his way to winning the fight or the scorecards would have indicated that when the fight was stopped by a cut.
How do you continue to take beating like this. Schools out!
Man what are you talking about? Do you even know boxing?. It was a split decision. TD means that they went to the scorecards cause of a cut caused by an accidental headbutt. The scores were 86-85,85-86,87-84. I had Santos winning also only by one round. You guys act as if Santos whooped his ass bad or something and cause of this Zab would easily beat Mararito, bullshit. Peace
hmm

And who is Toney?
LOL...alright, I knew you never seen the fight, just like I said the first time. I guess he only won a "few rounds" since Santos could only get a split decision in his hometown...right. There were 4 more rounds to go, you do know this right? But yeah, since Santos won a SPLIT nod after 9 rounds, that means he woulda won the fight...sure. Momentum at time of stoppage was in Marg's favor, buddy. he was gettin to Santos more and more.
Don't talk until you watch the fight.

this is how i see the fight:
power: even
speed: zab
stamina: ?
heart: tony
chin: tony
skill: zab
(i could be wrong about these)
i think tony's chin will be the deciding factor. tony will force zab into a brawl and theres no way zabs chin will hold up.
margarito by TKO.

I have the fight, and Margarito would have Koed him before the fight would be over if it wasent for the stoppage. People act as if Santons put him away or something.
Everyone is overrating Zab way to much, Magarito would Ko Zab in less then 10 rounds. Tszyu is slow compared to Zab but then he was still able to land a punch that didnt even look powerfull to begin with and that KOED Zab in the second round! Maybe Zab will give Margarito a shot after he gets his asswhooped by Floyd cause the're is no way hes beating him. Zab couldnt even put away Micky Ward or DeMarcus Corley and some of you really think he would put a monster like Margarito away?, nigga please!. Peace
hmm
No sh!t. You said Margarito was on his way to winning the second fight. I'm telling no he was NOT. He had a few good rounds, but if he was on his way to winning that fight he would have won by technical decision, and not Santos. period. Haven't you learned anything, junior.

Are you smoking crack? I'm saying you didn't see the second fight (obviously) if you think Margarito wasn't on his way to a win. In the 1st fight it was a NO CONTEST after ONE round, dude.
One round.

Im saying he has a chin problem because he hasnt fought a fighter who can crack an egg since Zoo-or maybe he has an you can enlighten me. (this fact speaks volumes)
This is the so true, and I don't think anyone could think differently.
After he beat Spinks everyone was ready to jump on the bandwagon. Spinks looked extremely flat that night but I think the Zab Judah that showed up at the Savvis still would have won.
But my main drawback on Zab is that his chin is questionable. And IF Margarito could reach that chin, I think it would be check mate for Judah.
