[Clip]Tyson-Etienne... Thrown fight?

like a previous post said, its hard to call this a "dive" obviously etienne had made up his mind before the fight even started that he wasnt going to win. tyson was just one of a couple fights at the end of etiennes career where he just "didnt give a fuck" he put up a pitiful performance against valuev, which kinda seems a little fishy that etienne, a washed up fighter, out of prison, needing money, has lost 2 pitiful performances to the two guys at heavyweight that needed a win over Cliff Dogg for their title shot.

It dosn't really make a big lot of difference anyway, the fight was hardly for a title, or very meaningful, and we all know the fights Mike had after it.

i live here in reno and train with kelvin davis,he showed me a sparring session with him and ettiene things started getting outta hand an kelvin knocked his ass out cold,ettiene has fine china for a chin and if you look at the way he fell when tyson hit him you can tell he didnt take a dive cuz he almost broke his leg.... Thats funny, I always made fun of this..... how do you get hit so hard you almost break your leg? haha.....

No way was that fight a fix. I have seen it and that right he lays him out with is baaad. There are times when fighters kneel down after being Kd, and just remain there.... but they are fully conscious of their surroundings and know that they could quite easily get back up. But its not about that. Its about reducing the chance of brain damage, and the advice coming from your corner.... IMO a 100% fair fight...

^^yea, its def possible that even if he wanted to get up he couldnt have, but its possible that he was already beaten mentally and couldnt find the heart 2 get up.

It seems crystal clear to me, Etienne looks at corner slightly while on grown, then removes his mouthpiece and THEN plays "dead".
