According to BBC:
Holyfield eyes fight with Valuev
Veteran Evander Holyfield wants a shot at Russia's new giant WBA heavyweight champion Nikolay Valuev.
The 43-year-old American, a former undisputed world heavyweight champion, said he was undaunted by Valuev's hulking 7ft, 24st frame.
"I'm hoping that I get the opportunity to fight him," Holyfield told BBC Radio Five Live. "It would be a good show.
"The art of the game of boxing is not so much the size but what you can do with what God's given you."
Valuev became the tallest and heaviest champion in boxing history with a controversial points win over WBA heavyweight holder John Ruiz on Sunday.
But the 6ft 2in Holyfield, who beat Mike Tyson twice in 1996 and 1997, believes he can overcome the significant height advantage.
"You can be big but if you can't fight, you don't have the punch or don't have the skills that are necessary then you're just another fighter," he said.
"It's obvious that he'll get tired if you move a lot. I should have faster hands so I should be able to dot in and dot out and hit him with a lot of punches.
"He could throw one hard shot and that could be it - but you've got to not let him hit you and you've got to hit him."
Holyfield was put on a medical suspension after losing his last fight against Larry Donald in November 2004 - his fifth defeat in his last eight bouts.
But despite earning an estimated $150m (£80m) in the ring during a 20-year career, the four-time heavyweight champion is determined to bow out of the sport on a high note.
"The most important thing is finishing properly," he said.

Oh my fucking godness.. Holyfield is a legend! If he fights Valuev he will most likely lose against the worst heavyweight champion ever.. why is he doing this? He is my alltime favorite fighter and it hurts to see his recent career decisions :(
C'mon back Evander! Is Rocky can do it you can do it! You've had a nice long rest - Donald's style was all wrong for you and so was Toneys. You need someone standing there in front of you that you can pound on. GO ON EVANDER YAY!
Valuev would pummel Holyfield at this point..I like Evander but he just can't get his punches off these days, in the Donald fight it was painful to see the openings he had and the fact that he couldn't fill them with anything. He is done as a fighter, as is Tyson. Valuev isn't the best champ out there (and I have not watched the Ruiz fight yet so I can't comment on whether Ruiz was robbed or not, but Ruiz himself has been on the upside of some questionable decisions so its karma if he did deserve it) but because of his height and weight he would give the smaller heavies some problems. I think he could beat Byrd based on his size but Brewster would knock him out with one of those wild looping punches he used on Wlad. Rahman-Valuev would be close I think but I would go with Rahman. Valuev isn't terribly slow for his size but his boxing ability is still underdeveloped and he doesn't use the physical advantages he has as much as he could.
Sadly, King will probably make this happen- it'd probably draw very well in Germany.
It's Holy's best chance at a belt right now. And probably his safest fight, other than a fight with Byrd of course. Valuev doesn't seem to have great power.
your such a dumbass. valuev won a decision over ruiz. he is big slow and sloppy. he is not capable of ko'ing top level fighters. and he is one of the worst champions ever. he needewd a gift decision to be john huggy bear ruiz. give me a break.
valuev beat ruiz wit one hand, say what u wanna say hes still champ.....
Rocky did it against Drago.
Ruiz was like Apollo Creed.
Ruiz trained Holyfield for Holyfield's last fight too.
Holyfield will avenge his former rival's death by fighting Valuev on Christmas day in Russia.
Then he'll wake up and go have some egg nog and say "P-p-Praise Jesus, I just had a good dream. I-I-I-I w-will become undisputed heavyweight champion again." Then he'll have sex with his mistress of the week, with Benny Hinn playing on the TV.
yo u gone too far, u dont make fun of stuff like that, u think that was funny but its not, its sad to know that we have people on here like u...
i think Holy could beat him, but then again i beleive Holy could beat anyone. I just watched Cinderalla man yeasterday, it just goes to show that anything can happen in the ring. If he does get the fight i really hope hope he wins so that he can finally retire.
that was an awsome movie...
Not only are you ugly, but you're stupid, too.
hahahahaha, looks who talking, ahahahaha, man that was a stupid comment, who do u think people are gonna belive me or u???
Get outta here wit that crap.....
I wouldn't call Holyfield a top level fighter. Valuev does weigh 324 lbs. A knockout wouldn't be out of the question. Especially if he uses that size to corner Holyfield, which given Holyfield's slowed movement, also wouldn't be totally out of the question.
If Valuev gave any brain damage to Holyfield, it would only be increased brain damage, cause I'm sure Holyfield already has some. Most 42 year olds don't just automatically get stuttering problems. And he's had them for years now.
good point, i get a little wound up when a joke is compared to a legend.
