If Tzu, who is famous for his punching power which he developed through secret training methods that are better than any one else's, decides to become Valuevs trainer and teaches those secret traing methods to Valuev,
could he turn Valuev into a monster power puncher, or at least get him to throw decent punches?
Could Tzu turn Valuev into the legit number 1 heavyweight in the world?
Ive done this before, and ima do it again. This is point of view on how Kostya Tszyu is overrated................
He couldnt even KO an old washed up Roger Mayweather, who hadnt been known for having a great chin and had been KO'd a hand-full of times. He KO'd a completely washed up Julio Cesar Chavez. Those are two names that helped him get ranked so highly, and they were both completely washed up and out of their primes. Everybody went bizurk when Tszyu KO'd glass jaw Judah because it wasnt proven he had a glass jaw yet,now it is a known fact around the world of boxing. Judah lost to a guy named Baldomir, Tszyus win over Judah doesnt really impress me much. Then every1 went bizurk again when Tszyu KO'd Mitchell again, then Mayweather KO's Mitchell and Mitchell is a bum and Mayweather should be fighting better fighters and his win means nothing. Whats up w/ that? Evry1 jus loved white boy Tszyu, and Mayweather put on a way better performance against Mitchell than Tszyu, especially in their first match. Then Tszyu was forved to go 12 rounds against Oktay Urkal in a pretty close fight, Vivian Harris KO'd Urkal. Kostya Tszyu was knocked out by Vince Phillips who had lost 2 of his last 4 fights coming in and Phillips never beat another elite fighter after that. Proving again that Tszyu is overrated. He fought a guy w/ a good chin, Ben Tackie, and was unable to KO him, people make it sound like Tszyus power is the best ever,if his power was THAT great he shouldve KO'd a guy w/ a good chin, and he failed to do so. I dont even want to get into Tszyus KO over Leija,every1 knows that story. Then to top it off the muthafuka quit like a lil bich on his stool against Hatton, some champ. He wasnt losing that bad, no bad cuts or swelling, he just quit in a championship match like a lil fukin bich. I do not respect Kostya Tszyu at all and feel hes very overrated. He was a GOOD fighter, but extremely overated in my opinion. And just the fact that he lost to Hatton means he sucks, even though he was past his prime. Now he is on dancing like the stars wearing gay looking pink shirts,any1 see that shyt? He looks like a fukin fa*g. Tszyu is extremely overrated
Its official, Tszyu is a homo.

you do make a compelling argument, but what's bolded is incredulous.
he's frickin 32 not like he has a lot of time to learn ...let alone have someone show him a hole new way of fighting , could really mess him up
with almost 40 fights
if he aint got power now
he is never gonna have it
he needs to get down to 280 lol
Agreed. I would love to see what Brewster or Peter would do to him because it would be funny.
Wlad would beat him but it would take him a couple rounds, so it wouldn't be as funny.
I think he actually has a chance against Bryd. Not the bryd of 4 years ago, but todays byrd definitly.
Rahaman or Toney are both potentials he could beat, if he improved a little bit.
Dead on the money with everything there.
And sure...he does have a chance against Byrd. In Europe.

He didn't learn secrets. He invented training methods that made him EXTREMLEY strong for his size and weight. If you ever read about how much weight TZU can lift than you know what I am talking about.
He is also very coordinated. There is no doubt about this. It also was not a genetic thing, because Tzu got much better well into his career.
You don't have to believe me if you don't want to but I'm telling you that if you buy one of Tzu's fitness videos IT WILL MAKE YOU A BETTER BOXER.
Getting stronger without gaing weight = a very good thing for boxers.
how much you can lift is not the same as how hard you hit ....fact Joe Frazier was beat in a weight lifting contest on by a olympic swimmer, actually he was beat by every one in every event, came in last.
Ok I could buy that.
But the guys I mentioned are IMO the best heavyweights....and he's not going to beat them.

Yes Valuev is shit.
But TZU is great. And a little bit of greatness could rub off don't you think?
People think its too late for Valuev to get better. That is only true of boxers who are good. When you fight like an ametuer it isn't that hard to learn straight punches.

I simply don't see Valuev beating the other guys.
Bryd (in the states) wins a relatively easy UD even despite his size....he's way too skilled.
Wlad would merc his punk ass easily, with his handspeed. Valuev would be lucky to go 5 rounds.
Brewster would bum rush his ass and take him out early like he did Golota.
Peter would tear Shrek's head off with a few punches.
Danny would survive....after almost getting K.O.'d then K.O. him.

yeah they said the same thing about Vasily Jirov right before Toney put him on his azz ...said he was locked in a room with hungry dogs all kinds of crazy stuff ...may make you tough but does not necessarily make you a fighter

exactly, an even better reason as to why Tszyus power is overrated

Yeah I know, I voted "no", I'm saying he is learning more and more in each of his fights, he is basically learning as he goes along. At this point I don't know if there is anymore anyone can do, I'm just disappointed that with the great Russian heavyweight talent coming out right now that he was the first to win a belt, kind of disgraceful.
lol yeah i twas agreeing with you ...i think right now is the best he's going to get

I don't know man, Valuev is still open to learning as he is every fight he is in, however I don't think anyone can teach him much as long as they put him in with poor fighters each time, he will learn on his own once he is put through a tough brutal fight where he will need to open up and let his hands go. I'm sure he has power but he doesn't use it, he's more of a boxer.
