I heard somewhere that if Jose Luis Castillo beats Chico in their upcoming third fight, that JLC will fight Miguel Cotto afterwards. Does anyone know if there is any truth to this?
I would'nt rule that out either but Cotto is alot bigger than him he barely makes 140 and Castillo is moving up but who knows he looked strong when he weighed over in the last fight with Chico.
Castillo is moving up but you have to remember that he is at least a natural welterweight. I think he could fight all the way up to 154 but a few years ago he said 147 was as high as he will go.
Castillo by stoppage over Cotto.

That's true, I guess I am forgeting the fact that Cotto has really good power. I would like to see the winner of that fight (if it happens) fight Hatton afterwards.
I agree with you that Castillo would win, I actually have him winning by mid to late round stoppage, though.

That's what Arum said, boxingtalk just said yesterday that Cotto will be fighting Raul Balbi in March 4 in Puerto Rico. I think he needs a break from so many tough fights, he'll come back refreshed from this long layoff and face a guy he should beat. Then he should fight either Castillo(if he wins) or Hatton.

I have heard it being thrown around whether or not it actually happens ....well you know how boxing is.Castillo by UD IMO.
