Danny Williams vs James Toney

I would love to see Sultan Ibragamov vs. Danny Williams! Two natural brawlers would be a great fight to see! How bout Danny Williams vs Sam Peter? I think it would resemble the Foreman-Lyle bout of yester year.

I really like Danny Williams, he seems like a nice guy and he's a really exciting fighter. I was on a high for days after he beat Tyson. But James Toney is the best p4p in the world and would murder him. I went for Toney by points but I really wouldnt be surprised if he knocked Danny out. Toney is a great great fighter and Danny has a lot of heart but nowhere near the skill level. He landed one punch that I can remember against Klitschko, and if he couldnt catch Frankenstein, what hope does he have against one of the top three slickest boxers in the business?

Williams is well past his best,he did have alot of talent but even at any stage in his career i would still go with a wide ud win for Toney.

danny has a shot but its like next to nothing he got easily out boxed by Vitali and toney is a master boxer. Danny has solid skills no dought about it but no he won't win Williams that fought Klitschko would hardly stance a chance against any top 100 HW. But there's no doubt that Williams is one of the best HW prospects ever seen, probably the best I've seen. His potential was like no other to be honest, far more natural ability and talent than Harrison could ever dream of having (or any HW today for that matter).

Williams would last to lose a decision if he was in shape and showed up mentally. The chances of that happening are slim, so I think he'd be humiliated, frustrated, and TKO'd mid fight. More of a giving up than a brutal KO.

Danny Williams in shape is a B+ fighter maybe A- in this piss poor division. Out of shape and unconfident D+ or C-. It is more then likley the latter so Toney UD. The SOB is tough no one can dought that I would like to see the fight and danny come to win which he won't but he can make it interesting he has more skills than Rahman for christ sakes

What do you guys think would be the result of this fight? I think it would be really interesting because either could take it, and either one of them could show up weighing more than Nicoli Valuev. Say Toney beats Rhaman and Williams is his first D-Fence. Who wins. Actually, this is an interesting matchup. Williams is different from most heavyweights because he can at least land a punch or two at short distance. Personally, I choose Toney out of fondness, but although I believe Toney is a better pound for pound fighter, I can see why some would choose Williams.

If Danny is at his best, he beats Toney. But Toney beats that hugely overweight, hugely unconfident waster.

I don't think Danny Williams will show up in good shape anymore in his career, I'm not saying he's becoming Riddick Bowe, but I don't think he is motivated enough to stay in shape. With these "fighters" in the heavyweight division - I don't blame him.
