Last time I couldnt even respond to my own thread anymore. I wasn't blocking you guys out, it was a glitch. I let the mods know.
So its all cool. Try again.
My vote goes to Holyfield.
Again, by your laughable definition, WWE is 'greater' than boxing.
Come off it.
Once again, LOOK at the list of fighters. If you rate Tyson above the other fighters on that list in terms of accomplishtment, you have no idea what you're talking about.
Now we're talking about accomplishment? The definition for greatness keeps changing and you didn't even seem to read what I posted.
This thread went to the pirates and nut huggers :hijacked:.
hey, i guess that's why you're mr. popularity.
Don't get me wrong, I love how you just dropped all the non sense you were talking about and changed the subject.
But my "Mr. Popularity" tag has more to do with all the idiots that troll after me, stalk me, and talk about me all the time in threads I don't post in.
ok, well now i think i see where you kids are coming from. how am i supposed to pick just one. that would imply that i'm biased anyways.
so we are supposed to be talking about who has the biggest influence or who i think has been the best of the last 5 or ten years?
and how the fuck would one compare completely different weight classes? this is just fucking stupid as i see it. but what would i know? i only know boxers and martial artists, not pop star icons.
and btw, bozo, vk would beat down any fighter you can name that is a current heavyweight fighter. same would kt.
You shouldn't even be posting, because you don't understand the question.
How difficult is it to grasp?
Who was the best fighter of the last generation?
That's like asking who was the greatest fighter of all time and crying about all the different fighters and weight classes.
Come on.
The list is deccent, with the exception of missing a few guys like Lopez and maybe Tszyu.
But that doesn't change the fact it's a JOKE you'd mention Vitali Klitschko. A JOKE.
and btw, bozo, vk would beat down any fighter you can name that is a current heavyweight fighter.
Would he now? Because last I checked, he couldn't make it out of a training camp to fight a meidocre fighter.
Just for a laugh though, what gives you this impression? Was it his mighty and stunning title win over Corrie Sanders, or was it his monumental ONE defense agaisnt Danny Williams?
He's gone, and he accomplished next to nothing in his career.
Time to let it go and move on.

why Hector "macho nacho" Camacho http://www.latinosportslegends.com/images/camacho_hector_pose.jpg
i mean why not Vinny Pazienza that would be a good one to pick
second choice is vk(for me) because i got back into watching the heavyweights when he started to break the chain with his fucked up promoters(universum) who kept him fighting mostly bums for way too goddamn long. besides, we both have martial arts backrounds so i can see the subtleties that got carried over that most boxing fans don't see.
If you are trying to assert with any seriousness that Vitali is even remotly close to being the best fighter of the last generation, you deserve to be called an idiot.
This isn't asking who your favorite is, it's asking who the best fighter of the last generation was.
Mentioning Vitali is an absolute joke. Beyond idiocy.
And I thought the Tyson fans were being absurd...
Kostya has had little to no influence on boxing compared to Jones.
My statement was geared towards a Klit being the fighter of our generation. But Kostya isn't even a candidate in my opinion.
Maybe in Ukraine theyre the fighters of Ukraines generation, but they haven't influenced boxing greatly IMO.
imsoflyyy, are you kidding?
being that you respect me as a poster, why question my statement? i only wish the kostya tszyu was an option to pick, because he did more inside the ring than really anybody, but big vk(turning to the heavyweights) had the potential to run the division for a few years.
so, basically my first choice is kt.

J, I respect you as a poster. Please tell me you're kidding.
i'm going to vote for big vitali klitschko! who else has captured the imagination of the american public like him while not being american himself. at least in the heavies. besides, he's my fave heavy of the last ten years, so i had to mention him.
