Glove sizes

Usually 10 oz. gloves are used, every once in a while you will see 8 oz. used. All weight classes. 8 oz. Reyes are the punchers choice. But ya dont see em too often. actually 8 ozers at lower weights are common occurance.

Does anyone know if they use diffrent size gloves for diffrent wight classes? yeah, above jr middle the gloves get bigger - two ounces more i believe, but i think i heard that from larry merchant one night on HBO boxing, and we all know he's a drunk

It used to be that the two combatant's teams had to come to an agreement about glove size, brand etc. I don't think that has changed but with so many "governing bodies" who knows?
