What a waste i guess, but it seems like he wasnt cut out for the sport,no dedication,no heart or whatever it may be.Early on,didnt he have a good showing against Leija, but quit or something? He's no longer fighting at 147 where he could prob have some success,I think the last straw was a fight where he couldnt make weight, the fight went ahead anyway, and he lost.Ive seen like two semi-recent fights of his,he didnt show anything impressive, and looked fat.
He beat Leija on the scorecards and I think it was later appealed or something. But originally I think it was a SD for Camacho JR.
Fighting a guy who had never fought a pro fight is disgraceful.
Especially at Camacho's stage as a fighter.
Hey watch out guys this is my cousin you are talking about.
You gies are right though. He is not dedicated to the sport. He has other "interests" that diminish his talent. The kid is talented, trust me. He could have been better than his father, but he has work ethic issues. He is not very motivated. That Sh** gets to me, but what can you say. He is a last minute kind of guy that has failed to make weight numerous times. He is also under the crapiest promotion co. ever. They have him under contract and get him sh*ty fights. He doesn't necessarily earn good fights to say the least. But I agree with most of you. He should be ashamed of himself, but I don't think he cares enough to be ashamed.

Something is wrong with this...Since when does a fighter making his pro debut fight in a 10 rounder? And 2nd, thats damn criminal to put a fighter with 41 fights in with guy fighting his first pro fight.
what else is new?

camacho jr. was a decent fighter he did do some damage and was in the top ranks. Every fighter runs out of gas, and thats what happened to him. You cannot call him one of the greats of the era but u have to show him respect for entertaining the fans even if it was for a short period of time.
camacho jr. is a bum and never was or will be anything
I wonder how much he earn for that last fight in Sonora Mexico... against that guy with 0-0-0 :D
Didn't deserve it probably! At least his old man faced decent opponents now and then. He also always took is lumps and never quit. Maybe hearts are less genetic than we thought...
It was a great thing watching Omar Weis school his ass on Friday Night Fights a couple of years back. Maybe Hector Jr would amount to something if he wasnt such a fucking brat. I bet Hector Sr never spanked him once as a kid and he grew up rotten and wild like those Gotti punk kids. I hope he gets his wish for a bout with Judah so i can watch Zab decapitate him
Camacho Jr was actually a decent fighter but when he couldn't handle the toughness of Leija that's when he first showed signs of quitting. Then he saw his own blood and really wanted to quit. He was fine when his opponents couldn't do much but when he was in with a fighter who wouldn't fall over easy he couldn't deal with it.
Worst thing that happened to him was getting tagged with about 30 seconds to go in a fight early in his career - he had the chicken dance going but managed to get to the end of the fight.
He subsequently became a bit soft, and got found out when he stepped up.

Camacho Jr. was always a fraud and had his name of been Bill Smith we would have never ever heard of him. Hmmm that sounds like our president?
At one point in his career I recall him saying how Judah and Tszyu needed him, thats almost enough to make me laugh out loud...but Im just not gonna do that.

He has been a waste a long time ago. he is wasting his career and everyone elses time by being a part of the game. He should just follow in some of the heavyweight hype's footsteps and just quit.
