Wtf, Tarver actually Does hit Stallone??

Rocky 1 and 2 had a shadow boxing style. On the Rocky DVD special features, it has the director John G. Avildsen speak about how they got the fighting down pat, and he even has film of when they were practicing. Rocky 3 I'm not sure of. I know for Rocky 4 he let himself get hit for real a few times, and he got pretty messed up by it.

hmm How's noting that a large man like Tarver with KO power Koing an old Roy an excuse? Tarver is huge, that's the point. Super tall and huge for a 175 fighter. The dude did fight Jirov after all in the olympics, who was a career cruiserweight. Jones started at 154 lbs. I said what I said cuz someone had to be a smartass and compare Roy's chin to Stallone's anyway. Tarver makes his boxing and acting career off of beating old fighters who used to be great. Next on the list is Tyson...lol.

Damn...people don't realize how much bigger Tarver is than RJJ. That just shows how great RJJ was to fight huge guys like that in his career. Roy without bulking up could've fought at 160-168 his whole career. Tarver is nothing without Roy. Obviously Tarver is committed to fighting at heavyweight. He's making a mistake. I hope he is committed to fighting at HW-there is nothing I would rather see then Tarver laid out from 1 good-big-hard-right-hand!

I have heard filming has been pretty piss poor so far and Tarver may have been the wrong choice! Tarver has been lethargic and has thrown very few punches-they have called in Buddy McGirt to see if they cant get Tarver to be more active against Balboa-the director has been unable to convince Tarver that this is a film and not the real thing-Tarver responded by saying "regardless if it is Rocky or roy Jones Im gonna fight my fight". It would appear that Tarver will lose the first fight to balboa and then gear up for a remtach...however there have also been a few rumblings about bringing in Iran Barkley who has been obsesssed with the Rocky Series ever since he was a kid, Iran was to make a few statements regaarding the rumors but unfortunately none of the words could be understood? Another report that came in late last night had representation for Mitch "Blood" Green lobbying for a tryout...I will keep everyone posted-Tarver has created a real rats nest-hopefully Barkley or Green can pull this movie out of the fire! Where did you hear all this? :confused:
