i havent heard eubank deying them though He admits to having problems, but so many people have personal issues. That doesnt take anything away from him being a great boxer, and an asset to the sport. Eubank was a great fighter. I used love watching his fights on ITV. If he comes on TV I like to listen to what he has to say because he is one of the most intelligent boxers you will find. Its just when someone keeps posting the same old stuff over and over again, it just gets on a mans nerves.

If you are going to be beating an ex fighter up for going bankrupt you will have a long line of ex fighters to deal with. The tale goes back to the beginning of the queensberry rules with fighters and going bankrupt. For the fighters there are always the hangers-on, the unscrupulous managers and the fighters need to live an extravagant live. When its over they rarely know how to cope with the common world and although the pay checks have long since seised, they still reach for the check when in a group and hand out cash to those in need. The unfortunate thing for the ex fighter is that the favor or favors are rarely returned. I would never beat up on a guy for going through his money. After all, to earn the sums that he had in his career means that he must have been doing something very well at the time, meaning he was a hell of a fighter. If you want to get down and dirty with the name calling and the making fun of then you should direct that towards his managers and financial consultants, not just the fighters. Also, if you want to beat up on a current fighter for going bankrupt or pissing money away than why not make fun of James Toney aswell. Sure he claims to be a great fighter, I have never once heard James or any fighter for that matter claim to be a great accountant. What about the great Beau Jack or Ike Williams or even Ezzard Charles..... All broke after their careers ended. Bill told me how he had taken James out of state for a fight and he introduced James to Ike Williams. Bill had to give Ike a couple of bucks so that he could go and get something to eat. It is not uncommon, in fact it is very common, for ex-fighters who generated great sums of money in their fighting careers to end up broke. For one reason or another it seems to just be part of the game.
