I agree with what your saying.
But what I'm saying is that its Williams who is now in the better position for a shot at the US boxing scene. That was Skelton's aim when he turned down the second chance to fight Danny. I just find that turn of events mildly amusing, thats all.
Yeah, it backfired on him.....
But i respect him more nonetheless.
DAnny Williams didnt turn up. Simple as.
He's a little coward for doing that bitch move and then claiming it was down to illness and that he was bed ridden. His fucking doctor said he was in perfect shape. If anyone is the fraud its him. He fucked up the first ITV show with his dumb shit.

Funny thing is that Skelton turned down a re-match with Danny in order to fight Mcbride (sp) in the hope of that match being a stepping stone to bigger fights in the USA. That foolish mistake only paved the path for the Wiliams/Harrison fight which now has give Danny Williams a second chance at a big fight in the USA. Skelton is still going no where.
LOL.

I agree. Its also based on if he decides to hop on the bus and actually turn up.... fucking nonse, didnt bother turning up to fight Skelton before. Lost all respect for him then....

Skelton is a high risk, low reward type of fight. If Danny were to win he'd only get to claim best British heavyweight and that unfortunately doesn't mean much. If i were him, i'd move state side and try or a fight with a top 15 American who is on the slide. Why fight Skelton? Sure it would look good in the UK but where else?

Oh, incidentally, Williams said he plans to fight Matt Skelton next. Skelton might win that as Danny is clearly past his belt, but Skelton's got Danny's old British belt around his waist. (He showboated it away to Michael Sprott, who then got beat by Skelton in his first defence).

Danny Williams, shit. We're actually discussing this guy's prospective bouts? The Heavy scene is completely fucked.
So what. The guy beats Tyson and then gets hammered by Vitali. Now Williams exposes Harrison and that's supposed to make things interesting enough to have us supposing his next fight? I don't think so. He's not worth it.
Dude, after beating Harrison he basically has no competition as far as his limited belts go.
This means that he has to fight someone a notch higher than Harrison, and because the division is weak compared to many of the others, his step up would be to go to America and get another BIG fight.... There is no middle ground.
All Wiiliams did was put himself in a position for a fight in the states. This victory does not get him a world title fight ( well, it shouldn't anyhow ) but it could get him a fight that could earn him a potentail big fight. Don King's heavyweight tournment coming up though, it wouldn't be a bad idea for Danny to sign with DKP!
Danny came in with too much weight. He looked out of shape. He also needs to change trainer. Never have been a fan of Jimmy Mcdonnel.
From the BBC website, it also seems Danny did all the fitness and training work himself. It showed during the match.
DANNY TRAINS HIMSELF
who are you? who are you? who are you? who are you? who are you? who are you? who are you? who are you? who are you? who are you? who are you? who are you? who are you? who are you? who are you? who are you? who are you? who are you? who are you? who are you? who are you? who are you? who are you ?who are you? who are you? who are you? who are you? who are you? who are you? who are you? who are you? who are you? who are you? who are you? who are you?
That beating he took from Vitali is and probably will be the biggest payday of his career. I don't think he will get anymore big paydays like the way he did after beating Tyson.
Danny Williams should take the absolute biggest payday fight out there, get in the ring and get hammered around for 4 or 5, then take his money and laugh all the way to the bank.
He's the posterboy of how miniscule talent with gobs of chin can get you big bucks in today's throughly incompetent heavyweight division...
Classy point.
Can't say I disagree with a word you just said there.
