I thought the fight was stopped a bit prematurely.

he took a 2 days notice, whos fault is that? he still won a split decision and if he wasnt in germany he would have lost that fight, then we could have said he took 2 days notice and lost a fight, fair enough. Styles make fights, I think Sturm is better than Ian Garner (Obviously) but if Abraham can KO Valezco in the 5th round, and Sturm can lose a fight to Valezco, Then what are your predictions on a Sturm vs Abraham fight? dude comon, i know your a fan but these are the facts. and can you explain how can i fight score be 116-116? i understand 114-114, or even 115-115 in some cases, but how can the score be that in a 12 round fight? He knocked him out 3 times and he was beating him,Abraham also deducted points for hitting after the bell thats why the scored were like that, otherwise it was 116-110, the official score. Felix Sturm's Hometown is Germany too, not only that he was born there, so what are we trying to suggest here huh? The Sturm that Beat Hector Valezco won a SPLIT DECISION and many felt Valezco was robbed in that fight, however i dont believe it was a robbery but the fight could have gone EITHER WAY, Arthur Abraham Knocked Valezco in round 3 and then again in Round 5 until he was counted out, Now you compare the wins, whos win was better Sturm's? which was so damn close or Abraham's? which was one sided points win and then the knockout? Think about it man, i want a reply to this one, and lets see how much knowledge you have answering to this question. Arthur Abraham beat a WELL DECENT prospect Howard Eastman, and that beating was almost one sided beating, you can ask anyone about this prospect and they will tell you the same thing GUARANTEED. He beat 2 other Respected Prospects, Ian Gardner and Hector Valezco, and he was only 23 when he had these fights, i call that YOUNG okay... hes 24 years old and he is the IBF middleweight champion, this saturday 60% of the people were predicing Ikeke to beat him, while i was one of the 40% that predicted Arthur has the skills to beat him, Ikeke is 6 foot 4 Inches, he would give anyone trouble with that height, but he could'nt beat Ikeke when he took a one sided beating until it was stopped. I think Sturm cant stop Ikeke like Arthur did, and I won some bets on this fight.. :) Arthur has a long way to go in the division, Middleweights who in my eyes are good in my rankings in overall skill: Bernard Hopkins isnt going to fight anymore so this is the current list: 1. SturmRules, have you even seen Arthur fight? Hes got a Very good stamina, decent hand speed and excellent power, with a record of 19-0 (17 KO's) and hes only 24 years old, he went 12 rounds with a TOP Prospect like Howard Eastman and beat him, He Knocked Ikeke down, when he got up Arthur kept beatin him until it was stopped. I am more concerned about Sturms health if he goes 12 rounds with someone with the power of Arthur, Sturm take a long beating if it goes 12 rounds, although it dont see it going all the way till 12 rounds. I dunno man, Abraham looked awesome last night... he did a good job stopping the jab of Ikeke. However, admittedly I have not seen much of Sturm, is there any fights of his you can upload besides the DLH fight? yes there in german though, most of them are over 500 megs though so it takes a while to upload them, some motivation (points ahem) might help them go faster :cool:

What is controversial about a ref stopping a fight when a guy is out on his feet and he keeps getting hit, and when the ref does stop it said fighter falls halfway across the ring? ikeke is junk and lost to the skilless mauler, arthur will get embarassed and exposed when he fights a a top dog

well, if Abraham expects a shot at Wright, he better get his ass outta Germany for once. Well, I don't know why Abraham would expect a shot at Wright since Wright holds exactly no one's titles, but I do believe Wright is Abraham's mandatory.

you thought right. he IS overrated. He didn't look so hot tonight. I was definitely impressed with Abraham though, he looked awesome... had decent defense, and landed some real nice power punches... some of them were a little wide but they definitely looked nice. For what its worth, Ikeke disagreed with the stoppage in a post fight interview.

yea, tko. actually, after watching the replay... Ikeke was on the ropes, and his hands were lowered, so I guess it wasn't that terrible of a stoppage, but I dunno, it still seemed premature. Only 3 punches landed on the ropes before the ref stopped it, and they weren't fast punches. you did good. heres some good K.
