well although i still believe he needs to beat Bernard Hopkins...his next fight if he stays in middleweight, which he will needs to b Winky Wright..if he wins that..dont wast time and fight more..move up and fight Lacy...get some real balls taylor
And do what with his career? Ok so he goes, beats Winky, then beats Lacy. WTF he going to do with the rest of his career, just randomly switch weights and fight the top guy. That doesn't happen, and I cant think of many who have ever done it.

What if he wants to stay at middleweight and try to defend the titles 20 times?
And are you saying Bernard Hopkins two times in a row, then a top 5-10 middleweight then Winky Wright isn't having balls?
Dumb.
I have the fight. Jermain won.
Taylor lost to Yermakhan Ibraimov of Kazakstan
Well, I'm impressed.
That you could name an amateur from Kazahkstan. I'm obviously out of my depth.

He beat Sturm, bud.
Sturm should get the shot if he's healthy and ready to go.
It's possible. I'm just pretty sure you're wrong. I could have sworn that Sturm at least won silver.
In any case, if that is the case, who did Taylor lose to?
Jermain Taylor fighting Bernard Hopkins twice in a row, then Felix Sturm in April and Winky Wright next summer would be very good for the sport. The only problem is, if he beats both Sturm and Wright, he has pretty much cleaned out the middleweight division.
Personally I'd like to see him fight the winner of the Ikekke-Abraham fight in April to unify all the belts, then take on Winky. I also wouldnn't mind seeing an Ouma-Taylor fight.
If Ikeke wins, then ok, yeh, he should go straight for Taylor, after all, he's already made his case and everyone knows he's a tough, underrated contender.
On the other hand, if Arthur wins, and a Taylor-Sturm fight doesn't come off, I think Arthur should set up a fight with Sebastian Sylvester, and Sturm should get back on the horse against Maselino Masoe. If they both win you have a natural, all-Germany, European box-office smash hit. Plus, the winner is a perfect number one contender, and Taylor gets to test himself against another young, strong middlewight sometime in the fall or winter of next year.
That's in a perfect world, though. Not the one we live in.

Spinks would be overmatched.
Personally, I want to see Spinks take on Margarito at 147 or 154.
Yeh. I said he wouldn't be competitive. I said he deserved to lose if he wasn't gonna fight. But Margarito at 147 could be interesting. I love Margarito. Also, I pick Margarito.
If the Sturm fight doesn't come off, I'm hoping he takes on Spinks. Not cuz I think it will be at all competitive, just because I would like to see Spinks finished off if he isn't gonna fight.

spinks, ouma, and karmazin are not middleweights.
sergio mora? you got to be kidding me. the biggest joke to hit television in recent memory?
i think his next opponent will be winky.
Wow. For a guy who said he wanted an easy first defense, he sure picked a helluva lotta tought fighters to negotiate with. Personally, I'd like to see him avenge the Olympic loss to Sturm.

That's all it is. Just talk.
It's a sad day for boxing when Sergio Mora and Felix Sturm are prospects for upcoming fights for the Middleweight champion of the world, a sad day indeed.
Yeah, especially Mora. I forsee the press trying to turn Mora into the next golden boy. That last robbery was such horseshit I still cant believe it.
