Last night's installment of HBO's monthly boxing series "Oscar de la Hoya Presenta Boxeo De Oro" was unfortunately for boxing fans the last. "After three successful years on the HBO Latino service, the Boxeo de Oro series will not be returning in the new year," said Ross Greenburg, President of HBO Sports. "We were pleased with the program and appreciate all the efforts and contributions made by Oscar De La Hoya and Golden Boy Promotions. HBO will be expanding its boxing coverage on the main service in 2006 and HBO Latino will continue to present all of HBO’s main boxing coverage in 2006. We are eager to continue working with Oscar and other promoters on innovative boxing ideas for 2006 and beyond."
