Shocking news to me indeed. He looked like a very hot prospect. He definitely can bounce back as long as he doesn't take the loss to hard on himself. Benard lost his first pro fight :)
Is this the guy who was supposed to be the better prospect than rocky Juarez? Oh.Hmmm, isnt that intresting. No disrepect to Ghost(though I was never a fan) but Its funny how little credit Rocky gets,Guerrero can "bounce back",Juarez is a "bust".
I agree, I was never on the Guerrero bandwagon, I was on the Juarez, and still am a fan..
He's still young and has LOTS to learn!
Same as Guerrero...
One loss don't mean shit really..

I liked Guerrero's sportsmanship.
Diaz guy was really hard to hit surprisingly.
Guerrero simply couldn't handle the pressure, and when Diaz finally gased out, he kept holding Guerrero who couldn't do anything about it.
Guerrero was doing one thing again and again, that was jab jab and throw straight left. He really needs to mix it up and create some nice combinations if he wants to fight at the higher level.
Maybe Guerrero needs to be trained by Freddie Roach who transformed Pacquiao recently into a slightly multi-dimensional fighter, unlike his old self.
I think a loss can be good for a career, look at all the all time greats, they all have losses because of inexperience..
Depends if he learns from it or not.
Only time will tell.
Apparently, he was nicknamed "The Ghost" because he was very difficult to hit(according to Showtime broadcasters). After watching the fight, he should've been called Robert "The Jab-Eater" Guerrero LOL
Before this fight, he was talking about fighting Soto, Chi and Marquez next year. It's all down the drain now.
