I heard this rare video or whatever is gonna be released soon. Anyone ever seen it? I know they had different endings. It was based on computer input, both fighters actually are in the "fight".
It's a simulation, you batty boy.
The body shots are purportedly real, but the head shots were pulled, and both played to a script.
Your a complete retard Anorak.........
Rocky Ko's Ali some say the only reason they had this ending is because 2 weeks before it was supposed to air Rocky died in the Plane crash and this was supposed to Honour him.
Supposedly Marciano was aware of the eventual outcome before it aired for the public, and this is a conversation he had with his brother, Pete, shortly after the filming for the computer fight had been completed;
"How do you think you'll do in that fight?" Pete asked.
"I'm a winner in thirteen." Rocky said, grinning.
"You know you won?" Peter asked.
""I told you," Rocky said. "I take him out in the thirteenth round."
From what I have read he did drop Ali with a Body Shot b/c he kept Knocking of Rockys Hairpiece.... anyways yeah there are 2 versions of it in 1 Rocky Ko's Ali some say the only reason they had this ending is because 2 weeks before it was supposed to air Rocky died in the Plane crash and this was supposed to Honour him. in the Second version though which was Shown in the UK Ali wins by KO. I have seen clips of it on the net you could Try IRC or Limewire or maybe even Subfighter.com
My grandfather was in the Air Force at the end of WWII and stayed in until the mid '50's. He adored Marciano (being full blooded Italian) and wanted to be just like him. While he was in the Air Force, he fought for the Military Middleweight Title (or whatever it was called back then) and won. After he was discharged from the military, he was to turn pro and his first fight was against a guy by the name of Ray Robinson...needless to say he was a bit smarter than people gave him credit for and realized he was a lamb being led to slaughter, so he turned the fight down.
Because of his adoration for Marciano, he somehow managed to get basically every bit of information he could on the man, including info relating to the "simulation" of the Ali/Marciano fight. From what he told me, Rocky drops him in the 12th round with a right after being hugely outpointed, or something along those lines.
I've never seen it, but I heard it was made shortly before Marciano died. Pacheco claims that Marciano either hurt or dropped Ali with a body shot during the filming. Do you know when it will be released?
