I don't think i would hate on Tyson as much if it wasn't for some posters on this site continuely worshiping him and making excuses for his poor performances. I won't mention a particular name but there is one fellow on this site that seems to do more damage to Tyson`s rep than good!

Yes, how many were world class at the time they fought Tyson? Green was..Green! Razor Ruddock was a decent fighter but no lewis or Holydfield. Mike Tyson had the skills of a great fighter no doubt but the standard of his competition must be valued when judging him in boxing history! Bruce Seldon and Frank Bruno just don't do it for me! I guess it really is all opinions because I think Ruddock, Holmes, Spinks and Bruno were good competition. Its all how you think I guess.

most of the time he beat what was in front of him, yes he folded to holy, but after 2000 he was really shot, he took his beating from lewis tho he could of laid down earlier, that was the last fight he showed heart in

Klitscko wanted to fight Tyson during his career, not because he wanted an easy win no, because he wanted to make a load of cash as easy as possible! Vitali was even quoted once as saying 'Fighting Tyson would be like a rich man speaking to his bank manager. Its a formality sure but once you see the dollar signs you look forward to your end of month statements! Whats the point of this thread? :confused:
