Brightest Prospects

Vicente Escobedo is my pick as the best prospect for the coming years he has shown that he has huge power, and I LIKE BELIEVE he could take a punch as well. The only thing that I would like to see more about Escobedo is the amount of times he fights, he is knocking everyone out, he should be in the ring as much as JCC Jr is (10 fights a year) seem a bit much but truely the fighter he has faced have not work him at all. Might be a career move by Escobedo it seem to me that he is fighting guys who are not neceseraly journey men, he might want to get his record up by fighting higher contenders (trying to prove himself) but other then that he has huge potential to become great champion some day.

has everyone forgot about mighty mike and juan diaz,there bother under 25 years old,anyway there my picks. I forgot about Juan Diaz He's The Shit though.

Juan Diaz...the Ring contender? How is he considered a prospect? He's a middle-echelon contender...not a prospect.

I've got Bute, myself. He's been matched pretty aggressively over the past year, and it doesn't really look like things are gonna slow down in that department. That's really more personal preference than any true opinion. At this point, I would say Chad Dawson had done the most.

Jean Pascal, Allan Green, and Chad Dawson are all TOP prospects. The rest could prove to be barn-burners IMO.

jonathon banks 9-0-0 6'4 cruiserweight. this guy hits like a heavy, and he will be one someday. but for now expect to see him pushing for a title at cruiser within 2 years.

Lucian Bute (14-0 14ko's) is in the Fancy lounge. :cool:

I saw his last fight and didn't see anything special.He's real sloppy and he loads up on his punches.If someone stays away and jabs him they'll win easily. I've never seen Valero for myself, so if he's not all some say he is, I'll have to take your word for it. I voted for Bute, anyways.

Kevin Mitchell and Amir Khan. Very promising young guys from over here. Khan you've all heard of.

i would say escobedo, but hes somewhat inactive for a guy whos only had 7 pro fights and is trying to work his way up the ladder. i voted for bute.

Bute was the first to stop Kabary Salem who has fought Calzaghe,Echols,Eric Harding and Mario Veit. No kidding really.....I have not done my homework...sorta like Lacy was the first to KD and KO reid.
