Well thats just more proof that Kostya Tszyu is one of the best at 140 of all time. Nice clip, never saw that fight.
I honestly think he's the Best of all time.
www.geocities.com/selwaybt) the round in question is on there, great performace by zoo, and the commentators are loving it. 'this tsyzu is just a bit brilliant'
I'd like to have these fights in my collection, can someone help me out? That'd be great.
Right now Forrest would beat Tszyu I bet. Forrest fights at 154 now and Tszyu doesn't move like that anymore.
I've got it - am heading out for the day, but will see what I can do later.
That was an extreme example of the rest of the fight.
There were plenty of other times where Tszyu stood with his hands by his side & Forrest couldn't hit him.
Here's one example - more to come later.
That shits crazy.

on the negative side, look how low kostya's hand are after the throws the right hand. forrest should have thrown a right hook from out of that crouch and it would have landed easy. nice clip, though.

I've seen this fight before..
Damn, Tszyu is usch a relaxed fighter..
But relaxed didn't work so well with always pressuring Hatton :(
Yup, always a methodical fighter who takes his time and then goes in for the kill.
As far as his hands being low, he's one of the few fighters who could get away with it because he hit so hard. Notice that Forrest didn't counter because he couldn't.

yeah....that's all he needed to do.
If it were that easy....don't you think he'd have done it ?
Tszyu was a LOAD, especially as an amatuer.

I got that fight on my comp. A masterclass by Tszyu. Tszyu in his younger days was like a different fighter compare to him post Phillips lost. He was much faster, much more head and feet movement and threw much more combos. As he got older, he lost a lot of foot speed buy his body got MUCH bigger and stronger (incredible to think that he has fought at 140 for his entire career - amateur and pro) and became more of a stalker. Also he lost his left hook for a while because of the shoulder injury he had for years.
