I'm suprised this fight hasn't been talked about with you guys?
I myself think Juan Diaz is too small for 140, and he should move down to 135, and Raheem should move up because that's where the big fights are.
Thoughts on this bout?
Scap, if these two were to actually fight. I think the one that is gonna have the balance problems is Diaz and not Zahir. That's because Diaz cannot punch on the move, just when Diaz is about to get set to throw a punch Raheem is gonna be outta there and punching. Zahir will be moving from side to side and the kid Diaz is gonna look lost and get overwhelmed w/ the speed and movement of Zahir. Diaz is way too methodical to be on par w/ a fluid fighter like Raheem.
I like the volume of the Baby Bull but I cant argue with what you say...if Diaz does in fact have to have his feet set (cant adapt) when he is lettin his hands go then it could be an easy night for Raheem.
Either way I think we would find out almost immediately how the fight would play out.
juan diaz is a prime example of a paper champ. he's fought a bunch of nobody's.he was gonna fight ebo but then diaz hurt.after that diaz being a pussy that he is , did not reshedule the fight. diaz will never get my respect , yea i know he's from houston i dont care.diaz makes me wanna train and beat the fuck out of his fat, ugly ass!
HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE !!!!!
but seriously, is this fight actually going to be made?? or is this just hypothetical bullshit?
i think juan diaz is 22 years old.
oh wait, i mean i know he is 22 years old.
oh wait, he already has a belt....
oh wait, he wants to fight the guy that beat eric morales....
why dont you give the guy credit just for having balls to take a fight like this.... that is.... if this fight is happening.... i dont see anything concrete that it is.

Again what is racist about it. Instead try to back your sh!t up w/ some boxing knowledge and eliminate the excuses such as weight, being a f*cking retard, etc...
You have proven no boxing knowledge yourself.
All you did what type long winded justifications for why you rate a fighter based on his amateur career.
Sorry nice try houdini.
Typing more characters on the screen does not mean you are right.

On a bad night? LOL. Someones in denial.
Zahir is not that great, jus cuz he beat morales on a bad night everybody made him da man....any real fighter would beat this chump easy.
u know we usually agree, but i gotta part wasy with u this time man. honestly raheem was UNDERrated until he fought morales. now i do agree with u, on the basis that 135 isnt morales weight. but still, he did beat him pretty good. so i gotta give him props for that.
also he doesn't have the greates of power (diaz) 14KO's in 28 fights.
my prediction is raheem ud12. jus slick boxing
Diaz has very underated power. He has good power, not great but it's enough to get your attention.
A fighter with a high workrate will always cause Zahir problems because of his sloppy balance. He is very chinny, and has little to no pop to his punches.
Raheem - Juarez really tells the story. Raheem got rocked on many occasions and Juarez landed the harder, more telling blows. On top of that, Raheem only seemed to hold when He was in trouble and never fought back.
raheem has problems with balance, but hes an excellent fighter

I second that.
Raheem looked good against a blown up Morales....but is going to get fucking toasted by body shots.
Baby Bull is way out of his leauge as a fighter also.
Raheem = Overrated.
Diaz = Rising Superstar.

That was a robbery... Juarez lost.
Oh yeah?
Friday night Hype?
Is that why he walked through Ebo Elder, Lavka Sim, and Joel Perez, and remains undefeated as a pro?
Because he is hyped? LOL.
Raheem lost to another overrated fighter in Rocky Juarez.....and I thought he legitimately lost despite people calling it a robbery.
Amateur background means dick. TOS had an amateur record of 110-2 or something like that....and look how he turned out.
Unbelieveable post.
Morales was "slow" because he was blown up at 135 and only someone who is ignorant would not admit that.
Oh yeah.....and this just in.
Saying someone is blown up and was the reason they lost the fight was not because of size. Morales if anything was bigger than Raheem.
Its the fact that is not his natural weight....so don't put words in my mouth.
Good post. Except Baby Bull might seem like hype but its ok. Hes still young.
Calling me a tool, the fact that you think Zahir will get ko'd by Diaz, you sure as hell don't know boxing
Baby Bull= Friday Night fight hype
Zahir Raheem= although a bit small compared to the likes of Castillo and Corrales is a legit talent an accomplished amateur, psst.. so you are telling me that size was the main factor in his victory over Morales, didn't you hear what Morales said in the post fight interview he claimed the reason to his defeat was because Zahir ran, so how can ones size be a factor if he "ran" for the most part.
Morales-sssloooow
Raheem- Lightning quick
"SPEED KILLS"

I didnt say the racism in that statement.
You're still cool RSL.
And only a person w/ an oppressed mentality would think it was such, there's nothing r@cist about it. Very easy to mix up Juan from Jose to Jorge and makes it even tougher when they all have the same last name, plus the fact that I've been out of touch w/ boxing and only pay attention to the big fights.

You forgot Juan and Antonio ;)
I'm surprised Martha Stewert ain't tapped you to come up with a new lemon caca meringe pie for her magazine.
It just so happens Diaz has held the WBA 135 belt for over a year and 2 title defenses. I guess somewhere in your world he needs to move down to be where he already is. Whatever.
As far as Raheem goes, well he looked a lot stronger against Morales than he looked against Juarez, so he should stay at lightweight and make himself a mandatory challenger, not that I give him much chance against Castillo or Corrales.
Settle down tiger, I made a mistake.
