Hatton is a bigger draw than floyd. In fact Floyd isnt much of a draw at all. His following might have increased since, but remember when he fought Corley the Arena was empty. It reflected a few prior fights where he stunk out the joint. A shame because that fight was actually good. :D And when he fought Castillo for the championship the first time, there was way more Castillo fans than floyd fans in the arena. And Castillo was relatively unknown in the American Media.

The commentators were saying how mediocre he is (He's not BAD, just a standard average boxer that may get to European level but no higher) and big brother Ricky was being diplomatic about his performance. From what I remember it's the kind of Hatton crouch style, but a bit traditionally based, ie. using the jab, in and out footwork rather than just pressing forward, etc. The guy can box to a reasonable standard, but when your brother's champion of the world it casts an unnecessary spotlight on you, doesn't it?

£100 to £475 per ticket thats whats holding it back. Sheffield is a Northern England steel town there are not many rappers or movie stars hanging around!!! How come all the British fighters are overated, I remember the same being said about Lewis, Benn, Eubank, Hamed and loads more.

Apparently Frank, Iron One and Evil have been hanging outside the box office offering their ass for £20 a pop, that's what's taken the edge off the ticket sales. This was in the local newspaper, and is a FACT. Some punk in an anorak was giving it away for free though so we didn't make a penny. :mad:
