Not only is Castillo physically stronger(he is by far the bigger man) Hatton he also packs a bigger punch easily. Castillo is 5'8 with 69 inch reach. elveil, tszyu wasn't exactly on top of his game, and probably had an off-night. at least that's what it looks like to someone who has seen every tszyu fight. but, tszyu beats highly skilled fighters on his off nights, so that says something about hatton. he still needs some polishing, but is a helluva fighter. I've seen every Tszyu fight, he's one of my favourite fighters but i can honestly say that IMO Tszyu wasnt having an off night, I've also seen every Hatton fight and every fighter he faces has an "off night" against him. He's just so agressive and strong that he can take most people out of their comfort zone.

The reason Hatton went down though is because he neglects his defense at times and leaves his chin up in the air, thus the reason I say Castillo has a slightly better defense. Hatton wasn't seriously hurt by the punch though. Couple that with the KT fight which he not only won but never got knocked down, you'd have to say Hatton has a good chin. He was skillful but lazy, Magee was a waste of good talent. He wasnt special but he was far from a bum. Hatton was a bit wild in his younger days, his defence has improved a lot recently so that problem shouldnt happen as much, he did leave himself far to open against a good counter puncher. Tszyu is a big puncher, every fighter he faces says that so Hatton must have a decent chin to take them shots.

He got a flash KD againt Eamon Magee years ago.......People who say Magee is a nobody havent seen him fight, he's a really good, hard punching fighter. I can see Hatton roughing Castillo up on the inside, Hattons just a feak on nature with his strength, i mean Tszyu was know as a powerhouse but Hatton over powered him. Castillo needs to keep just within range, upload lots of shots and not let Hatton back him up, but thats harder said than done.

If you asked me to break it down, I'd probably divy up their skills like this: handspeed: Hatton chin: Castillo stamina: slight edge to the younger Hatton power: Hatton accuracy: Castillo footwork: Hatton toughness: Castillo defense: Castillo bodily strength: never know unless they fought Damn that'd be a great fight. I hope that gets made somehow. I cant disagree with you, i think they are both very good at what they do but i just think Hatton's fresher and more mobile, great fight though, it could go either way because Castillo's proved how deadly he can be with a few extra pounds.

hmm Styles always make fights. For example, Roy Jones Jr is far more skilled than Antonio Tarver, but Tarver had a chance to beat Roy due to his style, which is that of a tall southpaw with power. Another example...Ken Norton is not as skilled as Muhammad Ali, but was able to beat him and give him lots of trouble because he jabbed when Ali jabbed and had great stamina, thus he had a good style to beat him.
