What if tarver beats tyson??????

I can only see Tarver beating Tyson, if for some reason Tyson gets in the ring and realises he does not want to be there (Like in the McBride fight.) So he gives up and A) Quits on his stool or B) Gets knocked down and stays down, not because he can't get up, but because he wants the fight to be over ASAP.

you know what would be good for boxing though if the winner fo lacy and calzaghe would take on tarver at a catch weight like 172

could the original poster of this thread please state the question in english. if this is about what would happen if tyson fights tarver and losses, then i'd say reallly nothing much would happen. people would say tyson's washed up, as has been done already, and that a prime tyson would've ko's tarver. so really, nothing would change.

i don't understand the point of this fight, tarver is the best light heavy but so what he's still a light heavy, micheal spinks beat holmes and was teh heavyweight champ, tyson is fighting a guy with no HW credentials, tarver is quick and confident but i highly doubt he can hurt tyson. i believe tarver's skill would eat up tyson but untested at HW, can he take tyson's blows? i don't think so, and the fact that he also coasts makes me believe tyson will slip something in and ko him. this might put him back into the public spotlight though, i dont' think it would damage him further than the state hes at so this will only help him no matter the outcome Kevin McBride and Danny Williams took Tyson's blows without a problem. At this stage i don't think Tyson is as dangerous as people like to think. They look at the 1980's highlights and think, yeh Tyson is the man but he is pushing 40 and said himself he only wants money. Tarver might stop him!

I think Tyson has become a one man circus show, a clown, the fool of boxing. What other than a fool claims to be able to regain the title then quits against the worst heavyweight since Peter McNealey, kevin McBride! This guy is retarded if he thinks he can beat a world class light heavyweight, like i said before the mcBride fight, ha ha ha everyone is laughing at Tyson, ha ha, what a fuck up!

Is Tyson vs Tarver on ?

Truth is I can't watch Tyson fight anymore until he comes in at a good fighting weight. He still has some pop but none of his speed, power or stamina. He comes in looking like he has pumped weights and eaten chicken for a month when he used to look like a walking muscle, still bulky but really lean. If he comes in heavy (which he will) a 6'2" Tarver will just jab jab jab until the discouragement makes Tyson sit down again. I wish Tyson didn't have the dept so that he could retire with some dignity. It's always tragic to see a hero reduced to a freak show.

iron mike will need to put the hurt on ET's body in the early rounds, use the power and hopefully get ET out of there. there's a really good chance that iron mike will lose this fight, i hate tarver but he has good all around skills, man i'll feel sad for tyson if tarver beats him

I don't like tarver and I'm a big fan of tysons, have been for a while but isn't tyson the underdog in this fight. He lost to big slow guys like mcbride and tarver is 100x faster than him. He may not have the best boxing skills but he can box and we know that anyone with a pretty good jab can beat tyson, Buster showed that to us. I just don't see how tyson will be able to touch tarver, I do hope he knockes tarvers head off tho.
