Nicolay Valuev is the biggest hevayweight out there right now and doesn't have Wladimir's tendency to fall down a lot...will he rule the heavyweight division after beating Ruiz's ass? He is too big for Byrd, can take Brewster's punch, and is too big for Ruiz to hug...looks like we know who the new champ will be!!! Long live Nicolay Valuev, the future king of the heavyweight division!
the toughest fights of his career was John Ruiz and Larry Donald wich he lost both fights and was giving gift decisions
I disagree on him losing Ruiz fight.

oh what the hell just to be a dumb ass i will put 1 mil on tyson or holy to win the hole damn thing... but it will never happen tyson and holy will not be in it
No Way! Valuev is a joke! You guys ever see how slow he is??? LOL I swear he is fighting in slow motion. Huggie bear will expose his oversized ass.
For the guy his size, he is pretty fast. I've seen about 6 of his fights. He is no Toney but I think he is faster than Vitali Klitschko was, although not nearly as powerful.
dempsey KOd willard on the 4th of July in 1919 in Toledo, Ohio.
bert sugar cant touch this :D
you're right dude, my bad, alzheimer's must be kickin in, either that or too much masterbating, waaay too much masturbating.
even ruiz is a big step up for the caveman, he might beat a shot ruiz ( and he is - i don't think johnnyluise has much left in the tank ) but when the caveman steps up against lamon brewster it's gonna be just like 1921 again, when jack dempsey knocked out jess willard. toney or brewster will unify, they've got the best chance

Keep dreaming, that man has no boxing ability.
After watching Valuevs last fight against Donald i couldnt see what the fuss was over the decision. There was alot of posts about how Donald was ripped off but i had Valuev winning by at least 3 rounds.Im no Valuev fan by a long shot, but he is better than i first thought. He has good work rate for a big guy but i do think that he did show many signs of weaknesses in that fight.Strangly enough most of his good work comes close in so he isnt using his size as effective as he could. He isnt a bad fighter, but not a top class contender either so i think Ruiz will stop him late on.If he does get past Ruiz he does not have the class to unify the division.
after his fight with donald i thought: "if this guy is 7 ft tall, 340 lbs. and hes already had to go the distance 11 times? what the hell kinda guy with a 7ft frame cant rack up KOs like mad?"
now those choices are rigged, i dont think he could unify , but i also dont think hhe sucks that bad, if you are that big you cant suck that much.
but like someone said befor eJames Toney to unify
I think Valuev beats Ruiz...Biggest challenge for Valuev would be Brewster I think, especially if Brewster comes out like he did against Golota...but Valuev has almost a foot on Brewster and probably 100+ lbs...Toney could be a problem as well but not as long as Valuev uses his height...
ruiz has sneaky power and has a bit of pop on him, dont quite underestimate ruiz, god did i just say that?
You did, lol. But Ruiz only had what, two TKOs in his last 10 fights? In the HW division it means he has no power at all.
he's a good fighter but he hasn't fought any top-10 guys, yet... my guess is that he's probably just too big to be the dominant heavyweight - a medium-sized guy with some speed could probably make him look like Foreman did after Holyfield finished with him.
