Or should I say, the chin CHECKER, no "s". What happened? Are they truly overhyped or what.
EIGHTEEN SECONDS?? WTF. I must admit. I was big on them too. Codringtons career may be over at 21 for real.
Can a chin checker fan tell me what the deal is........
Robbing women of their purses? Trust me, you dont know that kid. Jaidon is a kid with a solid education behind and a good family. He will NEVER be a cxommon thief, purse snatcher etc. That's not him.
ICE
i meant no offense
i dont actually think he is, im just digging on this jerk off master director cause he called me a fag for saying jason litzau had potential, and it turns out his boy should be licking litzaus boots.
yo master.....
how come jaidon cant take a hit or get up like wladamir klitschko can???
Robbing?

Overhyped? Umm...hardly. Nobody besides me and a couple others even followed them. My boy Jaidon finally got live TV exposure and bam, he gets KTFO in 18 seconds. I'm hoping he'll bounce back, but I don't look for much now. How can I? Damn, 18 seconds, that's got to be tough to come back from.
you wouldnt know where i could find a picture of him slumped through the ropes or on the stretcher for my avatar would you?? if you could find one for me ill give you good karma.
jaidon codrington is done, hes back to robbing women of their purses.
can someone name me another fighter who got knocked completely unconscious in under 30 seconds, was slumped through the ropes, out cold for 5 minutes, left the ring on a stretcher and spent the night in the hospital that went on to become a champion??
that's what i was thinking. don't think this loss helped him all that much
Yeah I was a huge Codrington fan before the fight, not hating him now just cause he did get knocked the FUCK out in a round. Damn boxing is the most humbling of sports when you lose.
Bernard Hopkins lost his first fight.
Couldnt have said it better.
Chin Checkers hmmm they might want to establish some cred. with a name like that. Hell I wanted to see what they were all about with a name like that & to get 'Chin Checked' 19 seconds Ruiz style fashion is embarrassing & Mr Chin Checker lil punk ass was talking big shit too? To the other fighter, family & trainers.Man fuck him got he what he deserved bitch. Unless you can back it up like James "'Lights Out' Toney shut the fuck up & stick to Joe Cala-faggy birth names.

John Ruiz, minus the stretcher.

yup, herol grahm
well you need to understand that it is one thing for a young fighter to "need that loss" to better advance them and see what they have...
but this wasn't some Bojado, Camacho Jr, or Olajide loss...this was a brutal and fatal looking knockout...the type that would make him so gunshy IF he continued boxing...
nothing is "learned" from being blown out in 18 seconds...it is not like you were "out veterened" over 10 rounds...you were caught cold before you had a chance to learn anything...the only thing you learn is that you can be KOed so just be more careful...

man, that ko was fucking brutal. green's seemingly not giving a fuck attitude was brutal too. yeah, it's boxing, but that guy needs to show a bit more compassion after a ko like that. classless. truly classless.
sometimes it's good for a young fighter to have a loss on his record, it gives him something to think about, to remind him not to go into a fight overconfident
Well, i was at the fight last friday night, you all know how Jaidon faired, but Curtis Stevens looked very promising in his 1st rd TKO over Corey Budd.. he's now 9-0.. and im sure Jaidon will make a comeback (or hope :D )
BROOK!!! LYN!!!!
like Ruiz, he got caught cold early by an opponent who was out to prove something
What he said. He came out flat, wasn't expecting his opponent to be that aggressive, and ate some leather.
The worst part about the fight was what happened after the fight. Sickening how friends, family and "entourage" can stop a doctor from getting to him for over two minutes. Truly pathetic.
hey, it is just business...you have talented fighters...so managers and promoters do their jobs to hype them up...give them fancy nicknames, etc so these guys can make some money...
but in the end, it is up to the fighters to produce...sometimes they do...sometimes they don't...it happens...that is why we all love boxing so much...theater of the unexpected...
