i hear from many and even evander himself said he won that fight. so i watch it closely for like 5times but it was clear that lennox won it by points. evander did better than the first time, he actually landed more solid punches than lennox. i like evander but he use dirty tactic in that fight clearly. he intentional headbutts
lennox three times first in round 5 it created a cut immediately, round 6 it was visible by lennox face express and round 8 the last one prove that it was not a coincidence.
I still think Evander won the second fight clearly. Lewis didn't do anything but sit back and wait. Evander made the fight. It was a stinker to boot but if Evander didn't try to make it a fight there wouldn't have been any punches being thrown at all...
i have watched the fight several times and i think that Holyfield Won the fight. The Sun scored it even, i just think Evander landed more shots than Lewis, and the best shots too. Lewis did better in the late rounds though...
Evander was well loved and respected in the boxing community and with the casual fan, but after that joke of a decision in Lewis vs Holyfield 1, many people lost respect for Evander because even though he had nothing to do with the ridiculous decision, everyone knew that Don King was responsible for that atrocity and in turn lost respect for Holyfield because he still associated himself with that fuckhead don king.

I've never heard anyone say that Evander won the 2nd fight with Lewis? If I'm not mistaken, Evander thinks he has won his last six fights too?
A big part of it was that he was trying to load up on too many single shots
and neglected his jab as a result.
I think he was too bent on trying to impress and possibly score a stoppage.
Some of the uppercuts he threw were great, but he should have stuck with the jab. If he jabs, he puts the fight completely out of Holyfield's reach. yeah, its clip of round 9?..

The reason the fight was closer than the 1st was Lewis neglected to throw his jab as often and was loading up on the right uppercut.
Evander did better than the 1st fight, but was guilty of fighting in spurts.
He didn't do enough.
I had it 116-112 Lewis.
yeah, i think the decision in the first one broke lewis. he was open for punches all the time. he didnt protect himself, and wasent active with his jab.
