I thought the person who started this thread was talking about street fights...but i do know damn well that trained fighters particularly boxers would walk right through punches like those,even if u get their nose to bleed it doesnt neccessarily mean that u hurt them either. A lot of people have noses that bleed pretty easily from even the softest punch.

a shot to the nose in a fight with a common person will make their eyes water and many times the fight is over when their nose starts to bleed. However, hitting a real fighter in the nose is nothing. After the many years of training they walk right through it. Ive always said to my young guys that I worked with, the fights just started when you get nailed in the nose and the blood begins to seep. Rockin' :boxing: i was "sparring" with my older brother and he put on a glove and i told him to hit me. after he laughed for about five minutes, he hit me with a left hook (i did not have head gear or a mouthpiece), and i tucked my chin to my chest and braced my jaw, and i hardly felt anything. i told him to do it again. he hit me three times with a left hook and they all had the same result: me not feeling any pain and me telling him to hit me harder. the 4th punch was a straight left jab. it hit my nose (when i was ready for another punch), my eyes watered up, i started bleeding, i staggered back a few steps, and fell right on my ass, wondering how the hell i took 3 hard left hooks and yet one hard left jab put me on the seat of my pants. is a mystery...

Rockin' :boxing: This is actually how I lost one of my am. fights. I got nailed in the nose real hard and it started bleeding so badly ref had to stop a fight. Funny thing though that I did not feel much pain and walked through the punch like its nothing. But later when doc checked me I noticed that literally everything was in my blood, my gloves, uniform etc...

I just came back from the gym and I was hurt like no time before by a right to the solar plexus, so today I would go with that one. (I have not been hit hard and square on the liver yet so I don't know)

if they're expecting the punch than to the ribs, cuz u got a better chance of KO'ing sum1 with a body punch than a head punch when thye'r ready for it

i'd go for a left uppercut. this would throw the fighter off balance. then i'd follow that up with a right lead. i think the question was "Where would you hit him"...

the solar plexus just drains all the air out of you. live blow is the best blow to any fighter

it depends, against a guy with a great chin i might go temple, but most often chin

if u got dat ONE chance in a losing fight where ur oponent was open to any SINGLE big shot, where would you hit dem: chin temple solar plexus ribs inda balls lol why and which punch????? id personaly go for da chin, a solid hook/uppercut der wil put da guy down, and disorientate dem! safe solar plexus or the liver. hitting the chin is a gamble, especially if the guys tough. hitting the temple is a good bet, but still, it depends on the guys toughness. hitting the ribs takes time, and one shot to the ribs wont KO a guy. hitting the balls is great, but in that losing situation... i probly wouldnt. no gamble with hitting the liver. its the only punch that ever hurt tex cobb. its the only punch that KOd oscar de la hoya. its the only punch where no matter how tough you are, a good punch to an unprotected liver will put you down for much longer than the 10 count. im proud of this post. karma plz.

The temple does probably do more damage dan a chin shot, i have to say! even tho i personaly wud go for da chin, da temple makes da guy dizzy, so wen gettin da 8count his eyes might not be right so da ref wud stop it :) lol a guy cud have a decent chin, i dnt think u can have a decent temple! if u c wa i mean! after this post i might have to change my first post lol

I'll take the left hook to the body anyday. There is nothing like landing the blow and hearing that burst of air forced from his lungs as he slides down the ropes to the canvas. In a helpless state, they look up at you with the fight taken from their eyes and heart, unable to continue. Love that hook. Rockin' :boxing: Liver shots are too sadistic... But the look on the person's face is priceless. Prolly the most painful punch.

Punching someone right on the nose can be good because it makes the other guys eyes start to water and their vision gets blurred if that happens then u got it made. I remember seeing the skinniest little dude do it to a guy twice his size and everyone was like "ohh shyt!!!" cuz the bigger guy eventually went down, by then i was laughing my ass off...always funny to see a big guy get taken down by a much smaller guy in a street fight.

A dipping right cross to the solar plexus. Nobody ever even came close to hurting me as much as that punch, And I had my share of am. fights.

Where would you hit him... If you are refferring to a street fight, I would punch him square in the nose...

well if you were smart, you'd naturally go to the exposed chin.. a body shot would absorb better than a good shot to the chin. if you're just looking to make the opponent drop and it's legal, a shot low would probably make em at least take a knee. :D
