boxing is such a frustrating sport to watch because fans like us need to wait a lifetime for the fights we want to see. Unlike basketball and baseball AND football where teams face other teams throughout the year, boxing fans get to see their favorite boxers whine and bitch about money. Oh yea, THE ABSOLUTE WORST thing in boxing could be the promoters and managers of these boxers. Fatasses like Gary Shaw, dumb bitches like Don King, and Old farts like Bob Arum don't deserve to be associated in the game of boxing. I could go on about the things i don't like in boxing.(refs, trainers, etc.) But back to the point, i hope these so called "p4p" fighters step their game up and give us fans something to be happy about. SOME FUCKING REAL COMPETITIVE FIGHTS!
I wanna see:
Zab Judah vs. Floyd Mayweather
James Toney vs. Vitali Klitschko
Hopkins/Taylor vs. Winky Wright
Jeff Lacy vs. Calfaggy
Mosley vs. Margarito
Cotto vs. Hatton....
and the list goes on...
He owned Arum badly. Arum begged on his knees back to DLH after DLH made anti-Jewish comments about Arum. Shows you what kind of amoral scum Arum is. But thats the truth. King and all these promoters are devils.
Look at Chicos promoters for example...
In reality its the lack of intellegence on the part of the fighters that keeps Shaw, King, Arum, etc in business. Fighters themselves confuse promoters with employers when they need to remember its the other way around. I might not like Oscar De La Hoya much, but if there is one thing other fighters can learn from him is the way he treated his promoter. He treated his promoter like the Employee he was, even sued him a couple of times, and he is the richest fighter in the sport today.
What do you mean by this ?
I'm confused.
I mean it in the way he told Arum, look bitch I get my purse and PPV. and u get ur percentage out of my purse thats it. If you dont like u can kiss my ass.
He managed his own career really and Arum was played like an employee. Doing the work he needed to do and always getting paid a lot less than Oscar. Cus Oscar kept him in check.
Many promoters today run the fighters' careers, and when the ppv fight comes around the fighter only makes the purse and the promoters pocket the rest which is sometimes a lot more than the fighter.

I really want to see Margarito get some more fights in.....i haven't seen him since the Cintron fight.
Tell Mayweather that...:D
Mayweather is scared as fuck.
Zab Judah vs. Floyd Mayweather
James Toney vs. Vitali Klitschko
Jeff Lacy vs. Calfaggy
These would've happened THIS year if they weren't pussies, other ones I don't blame, because they need to develop first..
Margarito would destroy Mosley, Mosley should not fight this guy lol

the good thing is i see the majority of those fights happening. but yeah, they won't all be happening tommorow.
Well it's true that sometimes you have to wait longer for fights I think overall it plays into the dramatics of boxing.
All of my DVD's I have I watch over and over because to me, it's just like a movie.
Almost every big fight has sub-plots and story lines.
Unlike other sports a boxing match can end in the blink of an eye. You don't have to sit through a half-time. Making it even more dramatic, because c'mon, tell me when you watch a big fight your heart isn't racing when you finally get to see the two fighters you've waited months to fight, stand across from one another as their entourages exit the ring.
I watch my boxing dvd's more than I watch t.v..
They are just like movies.
