i and i think every1 on this site wil agree with what the 'quietman' sed in dat statement!
i know alot of people are guna talk about roy jones takin drugs and gettin away with it yet vargas got banned and james toneys aleged steroid abuse, but like ruiz has now sed, it has to change!!
Popularity will help the drug problem I think, when there is more light in boxing, the more coverage in all media things will be more clear. Now its in the shade, and its easy to get away with things in the dark ;)
you know what I don't get? I don't get why they don't do drug tests BEFO a fight. It seems they do it aftawards. Tyson was found out positive gainst Golota, Vargas gainst de la (Hoe)ya, Toney gainst Ruiz and Jones Jr gainst Tarver. LOL!!!! That's confusing.
Trust me it will never work, people will always find another way to cheat. Just look at NFL, they have the best system in sports today, but I'm pretty sure that most NFL players do some sort of steroids. NFL players are bigger then ever.
Ahahahah, hell no. All of the American sports for the most part have bad drug policies. If we followed the Olympic policies, we'd be much better off since avoiding those ones are virtually impossible.
I'm sick in tired of hearing about Steroids in every damn sport. Enough is enough.
The quickest way to stop talking about it is to impliment a drug policy... this is common sense.
While Ruiz is lame, he is right though. I'm not sure how anybody can fault him for wishing there'd be more drug tests. There's nothing to lose unless you're using... except for we know most probably do recreational drugs of some point... hey, maybe we can prevent another Aaron Pryor with this too.
