Biggest Letdown of the Year...So Far

Why the hell is everybody voting Tarver Jones? Did you all expect a different outcome? :confused: RJJ was done after Tarver Jones Part 1..... :rolleyes: People were expecting Roy Jones to at least TRY AND WIN.. The Fix, I forgot about the Morales fight!!

zahir raheem put on a show but erik morales' performance had to be the biggest let down. he was never in that fight and in the late rounds he didnt do nothin. he was a huge favorite and was beaten worse than anyone has ever done to him. btw i picked upset in that fight, but i thought it would be a lot closer. pac will prove nothing if he beats morales in the second fight, raheem should be there, not morales. :cool:

I can't believe people honestly thought Wright-Trinidad was going to be a exciting fight.. I thought either Trinidad KTFO Wright or Wright outbox Trinidad... When someone gets KTFO and the other guy can't punch for shit=Boring and short...but a KO Wright outbox the shit out of Tito.....boring I only ordered cuz I wanted to know what will happen, but didn't expect anything exciting yaa mean!?

I thought that Taylor-Hopkins fight was a letdown in that it was meant to determine the future of the Middleweight division and instead the outcome was a little foggy...neither guy did all that much even with Hopkins turning it on in the last few rounds....I thought it was disappointing in that I expected more from both men...Tarver-Jones III was still the bigger stinker...I should have included the Wright-Trinidad fight but it was so boring I forgot about it...

i would go with winky/tito even though its not on the poll its the biggest let down of the year. boring as hell. all the other fights were good, just not what was expected

Tarver-Jones III Roy Jones didn't come to fight, he just came to see if he still had it in him to last the distance without being KO'd. Also, this was supposed to be the defining fight of Roy's career.. He was supposed to come in and prove his great. Fuckin pussy ass bitch(Roy), always was correct of him being overrated.

Jones-Tarver III - In the bigget fight of his life Jones acts like a little bitch! Castillo-Corrales III - Castillo proves he can beat Corrales not making 135, fucking cheater, Chico is still the fuckin champ! Thanks for fucking up this whole night Senor Castillo! Arce-Hussein II - WTF...I was expecting a fuckin war, fuck Fenech! Pewell-Bundrage - This was the biggest upset of the year for me:(

I'm so regretfull for buying the Jones/Tarver dance off.

the Tarver/Jones fight was WWAAAAAYYY more a letdown than the Castillo/Corrales II fight, they at least went at it for four solid rounds, screw the weigh-in garbage. Neither Tarver or Jones proved anything in that $50 waste. Hopkins/Taylor I shouldn't even be in there, wasn't a letdown what-so-ever.. same with Castillo/Corrales if you just focus on the fight and not the soap-opera pre-fight. The heavyweight's weren't expected to do any better so it's easily the Tarver/Jones fight.

Tarver vs Jones III :(

I'd have to go with Tito/Winky. It was the first fight party I've ever thrown and I had a shit load of people over (casual boxing fans) hyping Tito up BIG TIME! Halfway through the fight they were like, "Is this the guy you were talking about?" Man, that fight had me looking stupid and left a bad taste in my mouth. Maybe I should have included that but I bet Winky fans thought the fight was great...Tito looked like shit but I was mesmerized by how one-sided the fight was...I can't really say if it was good or bad but it was strange to see a fighter like Tito have his ass handed to him for almost every round

I thought Corrales-Castillo was a letdown, but not nearly as big a joke as the Tarver-Jones III fight...even Hopkins-Taylor, which was a lousy fight, had some fireworks....so far all of the heavyweight marquee fights this year have also been huge jokes, with the exception of Toney-Ruiz, but it turned into a joke when Toney tested positive for the roids

Trinidad-Wright (Tito fan, complete domination by Winky, boring fight) Corrales-Castillo 2 (Air let out of fight when Castillo couldnt make weight, Showtime PPV sucks ass -- really that whole card was a disappointment) Yeah it was, when I was at the arena I was dissapointed... When I saw Arce KO Hussein in 2... That just pissed the FUCK out of me...
