Audley Harrison vs. Danny Williams

Allow me to save Anorak the time. Your welcome :) Audley set to face Williams! It was announced today by Sports Network at the Sofitel St. James Hotel in central London that Audley Harrison will face Danny Williams on December 10th at the ExCel Centre, London. This is a fight that everyone wants to see and will be the biggest British heavyweight fight in more than a decade. This will be a one fight deal agreement between Warren and Harrison with Warren holding no further options on Harrison should the fighter prevail. The fight will be promoted by Sports Network. "It will be my toughest fight on paper," said Harrison. "But honestly, I think my science and my boxing ability make my other fights look easy. Danny can punch, he will be in good condition and have a good heart but I am looking to expose his weaknesses. Guts and a chin are not enough to beat a champion. I've used up too much K in 24 hours.... give him a red line for me, someone. Someone seems to have beat me to it. On the actual fight I am divided. I suspect Harrison is all mouth. Williams might actually turn up in shape and score a KO. However it's more likely to be a long boring points victory for Harrison. If it is I think Harrison should shy away from the world stage as Sam Peter, either Klitschko, Brock and a few others will make short work of him. If they come in aggressive and willing to bodypunch in Audley's clinches he's gonna be in trouble. He likes a slow pace and has no major pop. He should beat Williams but without a knockdown he will have proved nothing.

The only time ive seen Danny Williams fight was against Vitali. Therefore i think hes a piece. Say what you want about how he can do this or that, but ill believe he steps up big time when i see him do it. If i knew Harrison could take a punch id pick him in a heartbeat, but danny williams is one big mother and you never know. maybe he'll pull some william wallace shit.

exactly. he may not have great skills, but he's got the heart for boxing. and i also don't think audley has the skills to beatdown danny. it could be a close fight.

i'll be rooting for williams 'cause the boy's got plenty of heart. and he has fought with the best competition out there. hes got lots of heart, but he has proven he cant hang with the rest of the division. hopefully audley makes a fool of him so we can see somebody else try to take control of the division. i dont think audley is good enough though
