WBC, WBA, IBF, or WBO

There has been some talk about several shady things regarding these organizations. Unfair ratings, ridiculous sanctioning fees, fighters being stripped of their titles because of nothing, and so on. Which organization do you think is the worse right now? I personally would choose the IBF. First, they kept LJ rated in the lightweight top ten after his death. That is some serious lack of organization. I also read on the site that talks boxing, that the IBF has Roque Cassiani in the top 15 even after he is like 2-11 since 2002. Another thing is that I think that IBF heavyweight champion Chris Byrd has been part of some terrible decisions. First, the fight against Oquendo, then the draw against Golota, and the narrow win over McCline. Three fights in a row that could have been three decision losses to Byrd. Well, at least the first two. Still, he holds the belt. All in all, I see a lot of controversy surrounding the IBF. This is some objective posting. I am not hating on any organization. It's just that these aforementioned things are strange to say the least.

agree I think the whole thing is screwey. You can be number 1 in one division and number 12 in another. I posted something about pay per view and how it is destroying boxing and the fan base. This crap is another reason. There are too many divisions, too many so called champs. How long would MLB, NFL, NBA keep their fans if they all had so many divisions and champion teams mostly played on pay per view? Like boxing- not long. We need to end pay per view, show fights on TV like the old days and get down to just one or two divisions only.

i hate the WBC for their stupid sanctioning rules. i hate the IBF for their stupid rankings. i hate the WBA for allowing john ruiz to still hold a title even though hes lost it TWICE. ive got nothing against the WBO, regardless of what all the faggoty commentators say about it.

They should, instead of having Pacman/Morales/Barrera fight each other, they need more "Raheems" to match them up with. I also cant wait for Calderon to fight another belt holded, hes a midget with alot of skill, and it isnt helping that hes 30 already. I can't wait to see more of Raheem... I would probably give him a chance against Castillo..

IWATCHBOXING... Also because they haven't really had the 1st 2 ranked people fight each other... They should start fighting for it.. Hopefully Mahyar Monshipour beats Larios and becomes the champ..

Yeah. Pacquiao was not a world champion at 126, yet he was the Ring Champion. Same thing with Tarver at 175 now. Vitali at heavyweight, etc. I don't consider Maussa, Mayorga, etc champions..

That's not what I mean.. I mean their ranking are more legit... Having the ring magazine belt is like having the main belt.. Hatton is 140 champ, zab is 147 champ, wright is 154 champ, taylor is 160 champ, etc. etc. you know what I mean? Yeah. Pacquiao was not a world champion at 126, yet he was the Ring Champion. Same thing with Tarver at 175 now.

Ring Magazine is biased as hell, they didnt even have Trinidad on its cover until the Mayorga fight... That's not what I mean.. I mean their ranking are more legit... I only care about ONE title.. The ring magazine title, IMO whoever has that is the real champion... What, because Ring Magazine said so? I prefer to make up my own mind.

the ibf because i heard that don king is pretty much controling who fights in the heavyweight class. i agree it should be one league,theres to many belts out there. plus boxing would be respected even more.there should be some sort of petition

I think that the WBO is not as bad as some say. If I was a fighter, I would probably go for the WBO belt, since it's the one I like the most(I like the way it looks) and seems to be respected more now.

They are all corrupt bullshit unorginizations if you ask me......boxing should be a league or something with the same rules and rankings for all....is'nt Sen. John Mcain from Arizona pushing some sort of Boxing legislation or something?

Currently the worst IN THIS PARTICULAR ORDER. WBC IBF WBO WBA I was hoping the WBC would go belly up when they were being sued but at the last minute they were saved. Hopefully at least two of them could suffer possibly from lawsuits. Hopefully the WBC and IBF would be the one's to suffer. WBC still has some fame, but I think they have done some bad stuff too. For example, when they rated Mayorga #1 at 154 when he had never done anything significant at that weight. I like Mayorga, but that rating was a gift.

Imagine how amazing our sport would be if it had just one major league, like the NBA. Then all the best guys would have to fight each other, because there would only be one world title! A dream fight every 6 months or so...
